Oh I remember it too, though any time I've quoted it, well, I've always employed a little artistic license. ~wink~

Title: Time of My Life - A tribute
Rendered in DS3A64
Qualifying products : Guy 4, M4 Pirate, M4 Tuxedo, Louisiana Dress (shoes)
Dirty Dancing - Maybe not Oscar quailty but a comfort movie. Like Chicken Soup and Mac and Cheese - doesn't have to be complicated to be good for the soul.

...well probably missed the boat, just like one of my favourite cinema characters George Bailey.
...I'll post anyway cause I worked until after midnight to get it finished and am going to be worthless at the day job tomorrow.
This is one of my favourite scenes form one of my favourite films It's a Wonderful Life. Starring James Stewart, and Donna Reed, and Lionel Barrymore.
George: What is it you want, Mary? What do you want? You want the moon? Just say the word and I'll throw a lasso around it and pull it down. Hey. That's a pretty good idea. I'll give you the moon, Mary.
Mary: I'll take it. Then what?
George: Well, then you could swallow it, and it'd all dissolve, see? And the moonbeams'd shoot out of your fingers and your toes, and the ends of your hair... Am I talking too much?
Old Man: Yes! Why don't you kiss her instead of talking her to death?
George: How's that?
Old Man: Why don't you kiss her instead of talking her to death?
George: Want me to kiss her, huh?
Old Man: Ah, youth is wasted on the wrong people!

Just a quick update here...
The October Beginner's contest will start in another day or so as I'm still trying to get a certain item for the freebie. It will be extended a couple days so you will have plenty of time to create your entries.
The voting results are going to be a couple days late too as my online time is still very limited due to health reasons.
Hope to get everything back on track this month so it all runs smoothly again.

It's early but just stopped in to say congratulations. I know, who are you talking to. Doesn't matter they were all pretty good. An excellent topic this time around. I especially liked the Sam and Sadie scenes but all the 3D Universe characters are alway a lot of fun. I also really liked the odd Nursoda characters from cclesue. There were others, I know, up there where it says 'all' that's you. ha ha. So, well, congrats everybody. that was fun. Let's hope the topic shows up again sometime.

...aaaaahh, been away for two days and still held in suspense.
Seriously, take your time to get better first.
I loved having the chance to have some real fun with my favourite characters.

...Darkside is a hoot. I still laugh when I see it.
...loved that blender
--Will Smith
Silent Winter, your "untitled" work is probably the most faithful rendition of what has become an almost iconic scene.
Both very well deserving. Congratulations.
Lots of really nice works this month, though I have to say that sdorsey's "Titanic" still stands out as my personal favourite. There is just something about it that I find so touching.
