Compare and Contrast?
One of these is not like the other?
....
I have two renders. One looks great to me, and the other looks really spooky/gross. But I cant really articulate a difference. Do you see a difference between the two?

In the second picture, the skin looks blotchy. Also looks like dark rings around her eyes. The biggest difference to me is that her jaw line looks different in the second picture, giving her a meaner look.

splotchy ...yes, that is exactly the problem. But I wonder why? I am thinking that there is a glitch to how shader presets are applied.

To me that looks natural. Not everyone's skin is perfect.
Although, it does have a slightly "oil painted" feel to it.

well, I think they both look splotchy. The second one is a close up and the first one isn't, but if you look closely, you can see the skin irregularities in the first render as well. I don't know if the difference in her jawline between the two renders is also caused by one being a close up and the other not, but I hadn't even noticed that until ncamp mentioned it.
