Working on rebuilding and completing the 3D mall. Here's what I got so far.
This time I want to make it look more realistic so any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks!!

grubby it up some.
Simple way to add some dirt to the floor,
place a 2nd plane directly above the tiled one... Add a mostly transparent dirt layer to this. The say can be done on any procedural surface where changing the texture to be dirty or worn is more difficult.

Oooo, good idea BjornLo. Thanks!!
I'm also thinking of adding one of those small vendor stands in the middle. You know like for phones, sunglasses, or whatever.
This might turn into an actual mall scene instead of a 3D mall....

Michele, I think you should put some DAZ figures of us two having a quickie before the shops open for business

Nice mall but unfortunately it looks like our local mall on a busy day However, to make it look more realistic you need to provide a closed & abandoned store to put in about 30% of the positions.

Yeah but if we did it under the bench, no one would notice

OK no comment, back to the focus of this thread...
The lighting looks good, but something bugs me: it looks to uniform. In a mall the stores are typically arranged by the type of things they sell but there is still a huge amount of variety from store to store. Unless all the stores are under one umbrella company then the scene should maybe reflect that variety in design and layout. Yes I know all those in the scene are owned by DAZ except Poser; these are just my two cents.

Excellent point Beamer. I noticed that too. I'm going to give each store a different look and size and see what happens.
Also, it's very had to find models to use in a mall. LOL

Yeah, well Beamer' isn't the only one with good suggestions because here is one:
I was just about to say we could roll down the shutters where we'd not be seen, but then I realised, there are no roll down shutters! So, my good suggestion for today is to add some roll-down shutters at the top of each entrance.
Plus, you could do someone with one of those old fashioned carts selling Ice Cream as well

Actually Len, I had thought of that. As I walk around our local mall before it opens, I notice they all have the roll down shutters and gates and stuff. Definitely need those.
I'm also working on a phone stand as we have those all over our mall. Ugh.
