| what are you using to edit Salem? |
An older version of Adobe Premiere.
I took a lot of film classes in school--the most difficult part was coordinating the people. That was 20 years ago, though--things have chnaged a lot. I used to edit with VHS tape and two 10 inch video monitors!
With Carrara, Daz Studio, and Adobe Premiere, I can work at my own pace and have more control over things....of course I have no voice acting and things tend to get a litttle flat from time to time, but the stress level is much lower and re-shoots are a lot easier when it's all 3D.

I've always found adobe to be picky when it comes to chroma key. I like having the shear number of layers available in adobe but the chroma key really stunk. Vegas for me chroma keys very well, i have gotten away with some real garbage green screen shots that amazingly cleaned up really well in Vegas.
you should have some control over the frame in adobe, granted its not the same as having a full mo-con camera set up. but you should be able to kinda sort of match camera moves. If its not something too wild

I'll look into Vegas, LycanthropeX--if it's that flexible it should work well for me. I'm not an Adobe fan---they don't make the most user-friendly apps IMHO.
Do you have any examples you can post?

i dont have anything ready to post at this time. My stuff tends to get massively huge in no time and being on dial up i don't post much to the web. I will be posting some in the near future though, if all goes well

I understand--it's easy to get an animation bloated in no time! I look forward to seeing some of your stuff soon....not DAZ soon!

Sorry, desperate trying to get the image of 50 people clinging to a huge green kite flying over a suburb out of my head.

Here's a free neck stump for V4, you may be able to use it on M4 with out much hassle at all.

I've always thought those two morphing gifs were cool avatars! What did you use to make them?
