Wonderful! One of the best poser/ds animation I have seen.

Nitpick: From a dance standpoint, in the shoulder popping/shimmying part, most bellydancers pop their shoulders more dramatically and faster than shown though.

Really nice work Alli'
May i ask how did you struggle with dynamic clothes ?

I tried dynamic clothes on simplier animations with only one character,
but gave up, considering the time involved and the bad behaviour of the clothes.

Thank you, your animation gives me a reason to try again.

Thank you ch_moon0211!!!
I read a lot about problems with the dynamic cloths, but I cannot say that I have a lot. With these animation I draped the clothes in one simulation. O.K. at some points there was some pokethroughs, but if this happens I go back to this keyframe and let drape it from this timepoint again and everything was well. I think the Dynamic clothes are the best thing since years I bought here at DAZ.

That's some great looking animation and dynamic cloth work!

Can you describe your animation process in a bit more detail, and some of the issues you may have come across with dynamic cloth?

O.K. I'll ry to explain, in my not so good english, how I made this animation and the handling of the dynamic clothes.

The figure with the long skirt is my main-figure in this workflow. This figure I loaded first, did'nt morphed it and placed to its starting point. With Animate I give it the movement, in this case some bellydancers blocks. Then I loaded the other two figures, didn't morphed them and gave them the same ani-blocks until a certain timeframe. However I placed them a little different, like you can see in the animation. After this timeframe, they make their own dancemoves, simultanously.

For the Start, not to be seen in the Animation, I made my own Ani-Block. This one goes about 30 Frames from the zero pose of V4 to the pose at keyframe 1 of the animation. While these Keyframes, the figures changes the morphs from unmorphed to morphed and to the poses at Keyframe 1.
After I baked the AniMate-datas to the Studio-keyframes, I clothed them.
Now the Dynamic-control comes to play. The default setting are good for stills, but a catastrophe for animations. I opened the panel-tab in the control, choosed all skirt parts and I lowered the bend-resistant to 100, stretch resistants to a quarter of the actually worth(both X and Y) and I lowered the friction to 0.01. But this settings are all try-outs. So this is my workflow.
Additional: Sometime it can happens that the clothes loose every contact to the figure, then you can go back n the timeline, where this destruction began, at this point you go to single frame simulation, clear it and drape a single frame. Wen ready back to animation and let the simuuuuuulation run from this point again.

Now my head is empty Laughing

If you have more questions I'll try to answe!!!!

The only thing that is off a little as well is the hands how they normally hold them, I have shot belly Dancers and this is OUTSTANDING work.
Every bit of it was spot on and about perfect. just need to redo the hands and how they hold their fingers...if possible Laughing

Thank you all very much!!!!!! Very Happy

@Centerice11
Yes you're right, the hands are not that good. I am a noob with Daz/Studio and I will figure-out how everything works. I tried to change the poses of the hands, but they always go back to their first poses no matter what I change, but I will get it!!!!!! Smile
