I revisited an old scene which featured the Death Bringer outfit with Deadly Maiden textures. The Deadly Maiden textures rendered perfectly before, I still have an old render saved to prove it. When I attempt to re-render this same scene now all I get is:

3Delight message #45 (Severity 2): S2050: cannot find shader 'omnifreaker/displacement/omDispStandard', will try 'bumpy'
3Delight message #45 (Severity 2): S2050: cannot find shader 'bumpy', will try 'null'
3Delight message #45 (Severity 2): S2050: cannot find shader 'omnifreaker/surface/omHumanSurface', will try 'defaultsurface'

I kept moving the omDispStandard file around until it seemed to find it, at last, but then got:

3Delight message #45 (Severity 2): S2068: shader 'C:/Program Files/DAZ 3D/DAZStudio3/shaders/omnifreaker/displacement/omDispStandard.sdl' uses a different interface version: please recompile

Any chance anyone can help? What the hell is going on and can I fix it? Confused

did you create your scene in DS2 and are you trying to render in DS3? if so, thats your problem, you need to download the updated shaders.

I cant remember exactly how old the scene is but yes its possible it was made in DS2 and I am now rendering it in DS3.

I had assumed that DS3 came with the latest shaders for things like Human Surface, along with the other Omnifreaker contributions like UberEnvironment2 etc.

I'll try to make sure I have the latest HSS if DS3 doesnt come with them. Thank you.

No DS doesn't come with the shaders that are purchased separately. human surface shader was a shader which most people got with the purchase of the elite figures though the shader itself was also sold separately, as was the original UberEnvironment and UberEnvironment 2, you only got a copy of UberEnvironment 2 with studio if you purchased the advanced version of studio 3.
