Admins, please move this thread if needed. Wasnt sure where to post a poser work in progress thread
An unfinished set. This is a work-in-progress. While I plan to show some things, the main subject of this thread will remain hidden until its release. (also, I dont have enough bandwidth to upload the whole thing just yet:P)
The main Kenya set is completed but Im now working on a second set to be released alongside the first one - you know, since have all this time to burn until I can get to a faster internet connection.
The first set is inspired by insects/worms. It climbs and crawls.
The second set is inspired by dragons/reptiles. It walks and flies.
Normally, I show sketches right about now but...not this time since it would give everything away. Also, this Kenya doesnt look ANYTHING like the old one...same inspiration though. And yes, I'll still release the old kenya - I keep re-doing it but my computer keeps eating it...dont ask. I need a new laptop!

They'd better be useful for magic, cuz thats what Kenya is all about!
Well...originally. The new Kenya is all about creeping and crawling! AND magic!

Oh.
Huh...turns out I did have a version of the old Kenya suit sitting around that my laptop didnt eat. But its old, and messy. And I'll never fix this thing since Ive moved on to improve the whole Kenya...thing.
And the mesh is all-new. So..yeah...let's just...upload?! maybe the bandwidth will handle it. We'll see...

heh..magic.
If this were the Kenya texture for V4, the magic objects would put off a glow and cast light. But oh well, c'est la vie!

Those material / textures are amazing!
Too bad Studio can't use procedural shaders!

Actually D|S3 can use procedural materials but...its still kind of new to everyone here so aside from "fur" I think it'll be a while before you see it supported in an easily recognizable way.

Really? You wouldn't happen to know where I could get more info on that would you?

Check it out. Its pretty cool, right? MUCH easier to use than Poser's Material Room! Its even color-coded!

Ah I see... it's a DS3 advanced feature.
It looks like yet another steep learning curve to slide down!
I'll have to look into it when DS3A goes back on sale... I knew I should have gotten it when DAZ was doing their introductory pricing.
i tried that tut in the daz shader mixer and dang i dunno how the hail they got it workin but i got white or black end renders of the shaders
Do you have Studio3 Advanced?
If so, you have to make sure the tool you're using is the Surface Selection Tool. Then click on the item in the scene that you wanna change, make changes to the shader, click Apply in the shader window, and then...
...uhm...
...summon Bahamut! He knows what to do! Burn it all!
