Hello, again everyone. Here is, yet again, my latest animated logo. (Told ya I get alot of these.) This one was a quickie. It was done for a general contractor called "Jones Technologies Enterprises, Inc." They needed a logo redesign and then animated.
I created the "J" in Photoshop. The earth was done in Carrara. The assembly animations were animated in Carrara. I used the Explode and Spin modifiers. I rendered them with alpha channels. I composited the final renders along with the Photoshoped "J" in After Affects. I used Partical System II and Light Rays for the welding effect. I used Garage Band for the audio. Animated logos are purely bread and butter gigs but I have alot of fun dong them.

Quite Effective and well done!
Love the welding effect.
Also, thanks for the explanation - knowledge is power.

Now, that's really a professional job. No wonder you get a lot of logos: you're expert at it. No need to spend thousands of $ for high-end apps when Carrara can do the job.

Nice work MSolomon
It's great to have the reference of the original logo, along with your re-design.
What a difference.
Nice work, and a good explanation.

Thanks Argus and your right. I realize the other more expensive pro apps are very good at what they do but Carrara enables me to make a living now.

Love to see examples of Carrara at work!
Yeah me to, especially in the professional arena. I would like to see more work from some of the Carrara pros here on the Daz blog.
