In Bryce, not even the sky is the limit. (Well actually, right now it is, but I hope this will be sorted out in a not too distant new version.)

Bryce to me means 3d is fun and easy. Using Bryce is just easier than any other 3d program I own. I own many much more expensive 3d programs, but the total user experience with these other applications is never quite as satisfying.

I would think that Bryce's versatility would be one of it's attractions for a lot of people. Some seem to think that Bryce is "just" a landscape program but you only have to look through various galleries to see that this is not the case at all. It's also a very satisfying program for anyone who hasn't tried 3d previously and not at all difficult to learn - unlike most of the others around. In fact to me there was a feeling of almost instant satisfaction when making my very first render with just a few clicks of the mouse and from there it was a case of being well and truly hooked by Bryce.

Very cool Army, your animated avatar.
Bryce is good for landscapes with day and night lighting, architecture, indoors with artificial light, abstracts, SciFi scenes, space scenes, planetscapes, seascapes, ... , in fact, it is easier to list what you cannot do in Bryce: <empty list>.

originaly i got bryce just to kill extra time after playing around with it for a few minutes i found that i could make a fair recreation of items that were lost from a past life and that meant the world to me. now im addicted to the 3d world and still find myself coming back to the very first program i ever had. currently i own bryce 5, 5.5, 6, 6.1, DAZ 3 advanced, hexagon pro 7, carrera pro 7, poser pro 7, poser 8, quidam, argile 1&2, google sketchup pro, and worldbuilder,, but lately i find between bryce and blender i have everything i will ever need in simple softwares

@Brian
Yeah but they can use that as well if they wanted
@Army
I think you should speed-up the first part of the animation a bit.
Some might not notice it animates!

Bryce has one of the most powerful texture editors of any 3D app. The DTE can easily match Vue and Max. It's powerful, flexible and never fails to surprise. I still prefer Bryce's terrain editor over Vue.

Bryce: Test it, buy it, use it, love it. The most "intuitive?" 3D-Software on this planet!!!
Or better:
Bryce: When you test it, you will buy it, you will use it, you will love it...The most "intuitive?" 3D-Software on this planet!!!
Yes I know it i did it that way.....

sign that!!!
I wanna be creative and with Bryce I feel that I can be!!!... and don't wanna get grey hair while I try and try and try and reach something in the moment when the idea is no more fun to realise.

Get Bryce and grow old with it. You won't be bothered with upgrades for many years to come.
Sorry, I couldn't help it.
