Is it it worth buying? Easy to use? What does it do?

I have version 2.2 and it kicks ass. It's unbelievably easy to use and is part of my work flow for years. Morphs are remarkably easy to do, and the texturing just amazingly easy to do with it! If I wasn't handicapped and not on SSI yet, I'd buy version 3 in a flash.

Howdy,
We are also in the same boat ( I think it may need to be upgraded to a cruise-liner shortly.... )
I assume no-one is at home in support at the weekend..?
I tried downloading a registation key from the Blacksmith3D site but the code Daz have provided doesn't appear to be valid.

Copy the serial you got from DAZ into the field when rewquired (make sure it's the number only!) and you will get a valid dat file (for Paint only of course) when you hit the download button.

DAZ is only a reseller in this case and so has no influence on how the program works or registers. Be happy to get a good deal at this discounted price I would say or use the money back guarantee.
But it's as simple as putting the serial number you got into the download field at their site (only the number!) and download the registration .dat.

Jepe is correct. Just go to the Blacksmith web site with your serial number - but be careful to enter only the serial number and not any junk symbols.
Download the .dat file and put it in a safe place (in the same folder as the program is a good idea) and point the program to it when it asks.
I've been using this for more than a year and it's terrific. Although I have the Suite, the paint program is all I use because I tend to morph in ZBrush. It's great for fixing seams.
If you go to the Blacksmith web site you'll find out everything you need to know about what it does.

Jepe may be correct but its no good if the serial number to start with is invalid.
All I get is,
| Quote: |
The purchase code entered is invalid.
Please verify that you included the entire code and please try again. If the problem persists, please contact the vendor and/or Blacksmith3D with your purchase details and we'll get you the registration code ASAP. |
Thats using just the number only or just copying and pasting as Daz sent it.
If I put it in without dashes it throws a wobbly and says that its not basically in the correct format.
Go Figure!!
Kind Regards.
Shaun

Ok,
've found the problem!
you'll have to register at http://www.blacksmith3d.com/
fill in there the code (you 've got from daz here)
then you can download the suite there!
& you can download the DAT file also there, don't left click on the link!
else you see you're number with some strange symbols!
just right click this link & it would save to a *.dat file!
put that file in the data folder of you're blacksmith program folder!
open the black paint program & click register & point it to the black paint file!
as it asks!
it will only register the paint program of the suite!

Hello Folks,
Got there myself in the end.
Problem being I was using Mozilla Firefox and it was screwing it up.
Soon as I tried Internet Explorer 8 I got a .dat file from the registration site.
So if your having issues Registering try using Internet Explorer instead.
Kind regards,
Shaun
