In DS3A there are no horns, but you can plant horns on his head if you got some in your runtime.

Only Problem I have with it in DS3A is the glass texture, it looks like your calling a texture that comes with Poser for the material room, we don't have them in DS which causes a "can't find the file" popup.

It is a little bit large in DS, the doorway looks about 8 feet high, but a quick tweak of the scale slider fixes it Wink

Yes,the Glass is a Poser material. It appears to me that if you just ignore the warning and render the glass "as is" it turns out too invisible. Since I am making these as PP2s I don't really know how to get around that... But in the "README" I suggest: "This Model contains a Poser Procedural glass material, If used in DAZ Studio you will be told by DAZ studio "it can not be found" choose to skip or ignore this message. If you do not have your own glass shader to substitute, might I recommend The free set "Sha's Shortcut Shaders"- http://www.bluenotebook.net/?p=27 in the set there is a glass shader that is quite good, I have found this set to be very useful."
At the moment till I get better at making DAZ files this is the best solution I can offer.
As far as the scaling I still don't have an answer to that... I'm looking into it still...

Argh, I'm so easily distracted that I missed this thread altogether. Rolling Eyes

Oh lordy, lordy, lordvicore, this is a wonderful, wonderful shack! Thank you so very much.
Smooch

Just so you know, I'm still using D|S ver. 2.3.3.146, and the shack loads beautifully, with everything in place and no scaling issues. The only problem, as has been noted, is the call for the Poser procedural glass texture, but using Sha's glass shader does take care of that.

Now I just need to gather the rest of my props, stalk my neighbor's goats some more, and then maybe I'll be able to make a nice render for you. Wink

Thanks Dialer it's nice to know that The Goat Shack works on other people's computers too... sorry about the glass. At the moment that was the best option for me. I'm making some shack accessories that I'll put up soon, they are: Old worn cinderblocks (6), Assorted 3/4" thick worn wood boards of assorted sizes and lengths (6), A Cable spool, A lightly worn pallet(skid),a simple rusty metal trough (1 empty, one with water.... the one with water might not be included if it looks crummy when I Poserize it) and an Add on door for the inner doorway(the shack I modeled this after had a sliding door outside that was rusted open and no door on the inner opening). The boards and cinder blocks are to make things for the goats to climb on... and the same for the pallet and cable spool. These models are already made but Pozerizing them will take a few days and this week looks pretty busy for me... but as soon as I get the time I'll finish these up and put them on ShareCG. PS-thanks for reading the readme!
P.S.S.(or P.P.S.)- I'd love to see a render!!

By the way I just realized I did not include the dimensions for the Goat Shack anywhere.

Base footprint(without overhang): 30'long x 10' deep
Room: 15'L x 10'D
Open area: 15'L x 10'D
Main doorway: 7'Tall x 4'Wide
Ceiling: Max.-8' 6" Min.- 7' 6"
Overhang: 5'
Window: 3' x 3'

I usually state that somewhere on the promos but I just realized I forgot to on the ones I released around Halloween.

*lol* I'm one of those rare birds who always read the readmes. Embarassed And happily, since I already had Sha's shaders, the glass was no problem at all.

Cable spool ... YAY! Almost all the goats in my neighborhood have them. Actually, all the accessories you're planning sound terrific. Thanks so much for sharing all of this!
