Okay, on the subject of padding, I'm sure people will be fine with one-click.
On the subject of distressed textures, LIE is only available for Daz, but there's nothing wrong with providing a LIE plug-in as a separate product.
I know it's theoretically possible to do something similar with blend modes in the material room in Poser, but don't ask me how, I'm not THAT good... yet.

Saffron!
Hah, I'm sure I'll love it!
And...using Poser here, so LIE doesn't matter to me (I'd have to do some Poser mojo instead).

Oh... and I have a question. On the jacket, do people prefer to have the padding grouped together or would you prefer having individual control over the body and arm paddings as separate clickies?
I personally have more use for the "all the padding in one click" option, but it occurred to me that folks might have other preferences.
Be aware that all of the body padding is part of a single zone and can't be broken up practically (I'd have to increase the size of the package exponentially to do that and that's just not in the cards.) and the arm pads are in a separate zone, so this (separate arm and body padding clickies) is doable if enough people want it. |
i like the one click option - cos i'm lazy.

Oh... and I give you...
Saffron.
This is not your color-blind uncle's Hardcore. This is full-on, stylin aggro Hardcore.

More versatility teasing.
Blue jacket with saffron padding, saffron shirt, brown pants with saffron stripe, black boots and a saffron belt and holster with brass metals applied.

Okay, saffron by itself is hit or miss, but saffron as an accent is killer. This set is going to have SO many cool things about it, I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Thanks. All of these can stand on their own, but they're REALLY meant to stand together in combinations.

Ohhhh, liking the vest a lot. Love the pips on the collar.
I think I agree with vagabondallen about the all saffron one, but it is wonderful when mixing and matching. Nicely done.

Yep. There's a mat pose to turn off the arms and one to turn them back on that won't disturb your colors.

And speaking of colors... are our purple fans watching tonight? I'm putting the finishing touches on Ultraviolet as we speak.
And just because seeing is believing, here's a sample with the M3 version.

That's a nice, rich purple, but it still leans more toward the saffron category or plays well with others.
The vest is going to be an awesome option, giving this set even MORE of an edge over the Privateer outfit.

As much as I like the look of the Privateer outfit, Hardcore has one thing going that Privateer does not-- an M4 version. This wouldn't be much of an edge if there were an M4 to M3 body option in the Michael 4 figure like there is in the Victorias, but there isn't and it's been stated that they don't deem one necessary.
Should the Privateer ever be revamped for an M4 release, I will be at the front of the pack to get it and to do a texture expansion for it. But that's a mighty big "if" and I seem to half recall it being said that there were no plans to do such a release. More's the pity.

That IS a pity, the PrivateerM4 version would probably sell better than the M3 version.

Very likely. People DO seem to be very enthusiastic about the right M4 products. Especially the ones that support H4 and F4 as well.

Oh, don't even tease like that. F4 support would be KILLER for that set.

It would be killer for MOST of those sets. I'm one of those girls that actually likes mixing M4, H4 AND F4 together to achieve more unique looks. It's always a pain when the clothing doesn't support that. Unfortunately, more don't than do.

That's only TOO true.
And magnets are a whole OTHER complication I'm not too savvy with.
