Since when is $139.95 less than $100? I suppose it's crazy to assume that the advertised price will actually be the price that applies, rather than a price that I'm not qualified for. This isn't a platinum-club-only forum after all.

Sorry, coupons are always appreciated Kyle, but I'm missing DAZ' perceived rationale here.

If I already purchased Advanced, why am I going to purchase a bundle that includes a second copy I don't need? That is, if the only reason I got the coupon is because I purchased Advanced, how can I save anything by using the coupon on the Power Bundle? Answer: I can't.

Same basic story with the Essentials Bundle. If I've already got Advanced, and all the V4.2 stuff, the coupon doesn't help me with the M4 stuff. 54% off of just the M4 Bundle, or 54% off of the Elite Bundle would be great, but this "Essentials" Bundle doesn't help me.

I might have used this to get Carrara, but the Power Bundle is $244; minus 22% is $190. Carrara 7 Pro by itself right now is... $192. No savings to speak of.

Now... 22% - or better yet... 54% - off of the current Carrara price... now THAT is a coupon I could get behind. Smile

The coupons are to cover the price of DS3 Advanced for those of you that already purchased it.

For example, if you're a PC member and you were to purchase the M4 Pro Bundle and V4.2 Pro Bundle, which are both on sale, it would cost you $84. However if you buy the Essentials Bundle and apply the 54% off coupon it will cost you around $45 to have the two pro bundles.

Yes, just contact sales support here: "Contact form", and they can get you a refund for the difference of what you paid vs the current sale price, assuming your order was in the past 30 calendar days.

Just to clarify our reasoning behind these coupons, DAZ 3D always wants to reward the early adopters of our products. So when we come up with ideas for new promotions, we often create some kind of deal so that those who have already purchased (before the new deal was available) will get the same benefit as if that deal had been available for them, too.

Basically, we agree with you--it stinks to buy something and then find out that you could have gotten more or purchased for less if you'd waited just a little longer! And like Kyle and Steve said, that's why we have our 30-day money back guarantee if all else fails. (I don't think that any other electronic software vendors were offering a 30-day money back guarantee when we started it years years ago, but rewarding the early and loyal customers has always been one of our core values.)

I bought the Carrara Pro upgrade 2 days ago, so the money back scheme is very much appreciated.

I don't have any coupons in my account towards the essentials bundle, is that because I bought the DS Advanced bundle rather than just the application?

and I have owned carrara pro 7 for a long time.
Can I use either of those coupons for anything
eg if I buy some unrelated content do I use the coupons?
What should I buy do you think if it has to be related to those particular bundles?

First off, I must say...DAZ is awesome and very generous...you guys do more for us as consumers than Renderosity, Content Paradise, and Runtime DNA put together ever will. Just bites I bought all of this already, but you know what, you gave it to be just as cheap back then too. And I thank you for it, unfortunatly, buying the bundle...(even with the sweet coupon) serves me no real purpose. Crying or Very sad

But I thank you guys for being awesome to us, you Rock!! Cool
