Announcing the Platinum Club Shopping Spree Giveaway!

We're pleased to announce another huge promotion that will give 10 lucky winners a shopping spree worth up to $2,000 in DAZ software and content!

How it Works
For every $5 spent at DAZ during the entire month of October, Platinum Club members will earn a point towards the Platinum Club Shopping Spree Giveaway. Order whatever you want, DAZ Originals, Published Artist items, $1.99 Platinum Club products, software, it doesn't matter*. For every $5 spent in the DAZ store from October 1 to October 31, you'll get another chance at having your name drawn and being awarded a $2,000 shopping spree! That means that if you already placed an order since October 1, then you've already gained extra entries! Everyone who is a member of the DAZ Platinum Club, or who joins before the end of October, will receive five points just for being a member.

What Can I Win?
Ten lucky winners will be drawn from the total list of entries. The more entries you have, the more chances you have at winning.

Three eligible names drawn will win a $50 voucher good for the day it is issued to them.****
Three eligible names drawn will win a $100 voucher good for the day it is issued to them.****
Three eligible names drawn will win a $250 voucher good for the day it is issued to them.****

And the last name drawn will win a $2,000 gift certificate good on anything in the entire DAZ store* during a 20 minute shopping spree.

When Will the Drawing Occur?
The actual drawing will take place on November 1, 2006. Winners will be notified by email and must confirm the receipt of their prize winning notification via email within 24 hours or they will forfeit their prize and a new name will be drawn in their stead. The drawing will take place on this day to allow the winners to be contacted and to allow them to be aware of when the actual shopping spree will take place so that they can be present and online at the proper time.

What Happens During the Shopping Spree?
The actual shopping spree will take place on November 8, 2006 and will be broadcast via an online chat within the www.ArtZone.com community open to all registered ArtZone members. The winner will be given 20 minutes to add items to their shopping cart and place their order. Winners will not be allowed to transfer items from their wishlist into their shopping cart, but instead, must add such items to their shopping cart directly from within the DAZ store pages, one at a time. DAZ will not be responsible for slow system response time. If items in the cart exceed the voucher / shopping spree limit, the winner will be given the opportunity to pay for the excess or remove items, subject to the overall time limits. No cash or credit will be issued for unused prize vouchers or spree credits.

All entrants must be 18 years or older in order to win. Employees of DAZ are not eligible. Winners in certain jurisdictions may be required to answer a skill question to be eligible. All dates and times are based on Mountain Time as in effect in Utah. Purchases of items marked as "Resell" will not qualify for the issuing of entries. Purchases made using gift certificates and/or vouchers do not qualify. Only actual cash spent will count towards the entry total. Purchase of gift certificates are valid purchases. Entries may be obtained by ordering all other items in the DAZ store, but not Resell items. Resell items are not valid for purchase by the winners during their shopping spree. All non-Resell items in the DAZ Store may be purchased during the shopping spree. Items purchased with prize vouchers or in the shopping spree are not eligible for refund or exchange.

This sweepstakes is sponsored by DAZ Productions, Inc., 12637 South 265 West, Suite 300, Draper, UT, 84020. All determinations of DAZ, including interpretation of these rules and the eligibility of winners, will be final. The odds of winning will depend on the total number of entries received. The approximate retail value of the prizes and number of prizes to be awarded are $50 (3), $100 (3), $250 (3) and $2,000 (1). * Items marked as "Resell" products are not valid with this offer. Sure, but I usually buy things the week they hit the store, so I've already bought everything. And that includes software (except Carrara, Bryce and Mimic Pro, which I really don't need)...

Now if you where to release V4, and a large bunch of items for her...

I'm a bit worried about that 20min time lock for the big prize winner - I'm on broadband (and i's sweet), but the Daz store cart system can drag it's feet sometimes even so...a dial-up user would be dead in the water unless you allow for a $2000 GC...

When the special spree 20mins comes you might want to open up a dedicated server to that one person or something.
