it doesn't stop!
BTW right now the Carnivourous Ape, Brownie and Bugbear are morphs of the Mil Gorilla, Micket the Aeon Dwarf, and the Freak, respectively. However, I'm, thinking about making my own gorilla from scratch, and if I do then I'll redo the Carnivorous Ape as a morph of that.
The others were just made following this approach:
1: Make simple shape in Max that's the basic shape the result should be.
2: Pull into ZBrush 3 and subdivide.
4: Sculpt until it looks right.
In the case of the Anhkheg and Beholder, I've alsogotten this far:
5: Re-topo mesh
6: UVLayout!
7: Add materials and groups
8: be ready to rig.
I'd also have the Basilisk to this point, 'cept the program crashed on me when I was 90% done yesterday and I haven't wanted to go back to it since. I'll get over it.

whats the meaning of this topic, seeing the capabilities of Zb3 for making characters or seeing you are pretty skilled modelling monsters in ZB3?

Well, that was quick. See? Monster factory.
Oh you'll notice on things like the Basilisk and Carrion Crawler, I sort of skip redundant details. That's because once I have the retopo mesh around the finished one, I can go back into Max and clone them and sew them on in the other places.

These are looking great. These will give us all a reason to render half-naked barbarians with with swords again...but this time we'll have the excuse of it being necessary since they're fighting D&D style monsters.

Hmmm, the Ooze will need several different textures to distinguish the various types (acidic, corrosive, etc). Good job though, Dodger.
