Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with $5 voucher*

I just put in an order and was going to use the coupon cincodemayo08 to get $5.00 off of my order, well, when the order went through the amount it subtracted for the coupon was $0.00..

(see here: Erika for V4 ... 1 @ $11.17 = $11.17Tax: $0.00Shipping: $0.00Paid via Gift Cert/Voucher/other credit: ($0.00)Total: $11.17)

I figured it would subtract once I hit send and then thought that since it didn't subtract the money that I would order another product and use the $5.00 against that order but lo and behold it said the coupon was already used! How do I go about using this coupon? I'm not happy at the moment!

I sent them an email but they said it would take from 1 to 2 BUSINESS days so by the time they get back to me it probably will be expired!

I've just used this voucher and now my PC monthly voucher has gone but wasnt used, i only got $4.03 off.

It's not a discount coupon per se - it's a couon for voucher. And it probably would be more handy to add it to account before stuffing anything to cart and going to checkout. Checkout does tend to make coupon of various kind disappear.

I realise it was a voucher, just interchanged the coupon word.. lol.. and I did activate it and it was showing that I had the voucher available on my order page but didn't subtract it.. I have no problem with it not being used in my first order but it should had let me use it in my second order, don't you think, especially since the amount subtracted was zero? now it seems I just wasted a $5.00 voucher... Crying or Very sad

I searched for anything from Mexico on DAZ. There wasn't much. Not even an LB cactus. Certainly no shots of tequilla....

Just wanted to say thanks again - I put it (along with my PC voucher) towards the Chinese Room Construction Set (PA item by IsauraS - still paid $15 but even in the quick test-render I did the models look amazing - promo shots don't do it justice Very Happy

OK, I claimed the voucher. (Thank you, DAZerros!) I also have the May PC voucher. But, my cart doesn't show the expected result when these are applied: a $14.95 item (Medieval Banner Pack) only reduces to $7.48 - it's still a good deal, but I'm not sure what is actually happening, so I'm going to put it on hold for a day cos I know somebody here can explain it!

Five bucks is less than 50% of 14.95, so each voucher ought to be applied completely, no?

DAZ should have a better way to explain this. Vouchers only work towards the DAZ-half of a brokered item. Vendors still expect to get actual money for their half. It is selfish of them I know, but DAZ prints fake money -- er, I mean vouchers all the time. Merchants would starve if they were paid in DAZ vouchers.

That explains it quite nicely. Makes sense, too.

Basically: "DAZ vouchers, singly or combined, may only be used as payment for a maximum of 50% of a given article's price. Vouchers may never be used to pay for PC items. Gift certificates are the equivalent of cash and may be used in full payment at all times and for all articles."

That about right?

The exception is the DAZ ORIGINALS category. These are the items DAZ bought and owns. They might still list who made them, but when an item says DAZ ORIGINALS then you can pay for all of it with vouchers, since you are only paying DAZ and there is no artist to split with.

I tried to search for some Southwestern themed items, but other than the armadillo and some xfrog billboards there is not much. Can we get some support for a DAZ sombrero? Smile

Neftis hairs have been reduced AND are 20% off... subtract a voucher, carry the three, divide by half....

There's a small voice in me that is convinced there will be major sales and product releases later this month, and this is DAZ's way of tricking me into spending the pc voucher early... Razz
