Best to have content on same drive as program?

When using Daz on several drives as I am with Mac Tower, is it best to have content on the same drive as the OS and Program...or does it even matter? I'm clearing off an older project and have an opportunity to start fresh with some new drives.

if anything it may be better separated, so that the one drive isn't thrashing back-and-forth as it tries to load different things (of course it will probably do some thrashing loading the disparate bits of content anyway).
