Very interested to hear and see more about this.
Yeah, I got a million questions too..
1) Do these (or any of them) add on to the render time by using things like bloom?
2) One looks like DOF is engaged, is that the preset at work or the normal setting and we should be looking at the tone profile?
I guess I gotta wait for the read me to arrive or more info about this.
Please add more before and after shots.
Very interested in what this can do.
Thank you! I was gonna post some more before/after comparison but the forum doesn't allow any "embeded browsers"...
HOW SOON
HOW SOON
HOW SOON?????
Nope! I intend to keep it strictly within the tonemapping settings so you can even apply them in iray preview to try out different looks!
The DOF was just for the promo, and the coloring and effects are preset at work
I included a plugin on product description page which allows you to drag around and see the difference between normal (no change in setting except for brightness) and the cinematic profiles ;)
Or you can see it on that plugin's own website down here

Looks interesting.
But just to clarify exactly what this is, is it render presets that set the dials in the render tab to get the colour effects etc, is the dof (camera setting) and haze included?
Thanks.
The product is render presets in the render tab, all other items (including dof and haze) is coming from the scene itself :)
For example the haze in the horror promo is included in the Stonemason's Urban Spawn 3, the render preset just made it more visible by the color change (Gotta need more haze to get a clown jumping out )
This looks very interesting. Can't wait to try it out.
It is just released!

this looks VERY interesting! looking forward to renders to see it in action!
Thanks :D Hope you will like it!
Great product, EcVh0, and I like it. Below I have applied Nature 01 full preset, to the simple test scene render.
... and the render of how it looks like, before applying the preset.
Love the theme and his... wait what is he doing??
I'm glad you find the resource kit useful!
This is just render presets and mostly tone mapping then? The camera settings were interesting and would have been nice if included. Since I already have Dimension Theory's Tonal Rage I'm thinking this might be redundant for me.
I really am loving this resorce kit, It's pretty versatile. And now I'm probably gona overuse it XD :)
Hahaha I remember myself 12 hours into creating skin shader when I realized, dammit I forgot to turn off the cinematic resource kit XD now I have a green dude standing in front of me
And is this the new battlefield set? damn it really looks like battlefield one! With a cinematic touch of course
Believe me, I did not touch anything in camera setting except for the fov, so there is really nothing to put into the product XD
As for DT's Tonal Range, it is rather just presets of individual dials without any "theme" included. You can create amazing cinematic effects with that if you are a professional cinematographer, but as someone who has no idea what "white point" or "color burn" is, having theme presets like mine is much better that you can just apply the theme to the scene you like
Besides, you don't really need any products at all if you are a professional, you can just run your dials to the exact place you like
Yeah the new battlefield set :)
Looks incredible!
