I'm currently looking to hire a Daz3d artist for a project i'm working on, what would be the best place to hire them? I couldn't find any jobs sub-section here on this forum. Thanks.

You are probably already posting in the best place.   However you need to be a lot more detailed about exactly what you are looking for, and what sort of artist you require, 
2d or 3d,          texture artist, illustrative artist or constructional artist   and so forth.  

And you need to have some sort of idea as to what you are wanting to spend, as experienced people are going to be expecting reasonable remuneration
