Moving from 3.1 to 4.10! Need help with content

I finally made the move to 4.10 and I'm wondering what is the best way to import my old manually installed content into 4.10? In the past I would use "Search for content", but i am seeing two new options: "Scan Known directories for files" and "Search drives for files".   Also, on 3.1, I had created a system of Categories on the content tab. Is there any way to import my old category structure into 4.10?

I had the same situation, I just added the directory where the runtime in Preferences/content "content directory manager" into the right category DAZ or Poser, this worked and i had the old manually created structur from my poser runtime there and can use almost everything. :)
