Possibility of networking rendering tasks?

I am wondering if there's a possible way to use all devices accessible on the network to use their resources for final (or any) rendering? This can be done in Maya, 3ds Max, Lightwave (I believe).
Example:
Let's say there are 10 machines in the environment, 1 of which we are doing some work with Daz and it's time to render the scene however, it is now after hours, instead of shuting down/powering off all the others, we decide we want to use non peak hours to render jobs to them from our "lead" (master) system commanding it all. Is there a way to do this with Daz?

Not with DS. Both Iray and 3Delight stand-alone engines can work across a network, but of course that gets pricey (Iray Server is, as I recall, $295 per machine per year). For an aniamtion you could probably write a script to pass frames across to individual copies of DS, as long as you were rendering to an image sequence, but I can't recall that anyone has set that up.
