Mutomorphs for Genesis 8 and Xeno-Temple [Commercial]

    Here’s a version with no light organs emitting light into the scene. The lighting is just two simple point lights near the ceiling so we can see something.

    Also, I will add a morph to retract the light organs into their socket kinda like eyelids.

    These are really creepy and immediately though of that scorn game. Definitely going to buy.

    When I said ugly I meant it in a creepy way!  Not a bad thing as not all renders are fluffy and cute.

    Great job on them.  Did you say there will be a bundle?

    I don’t know if it will be a bundle. They probably won’t be release simultaneously but a bundle would be a good idea… I need to come up with a better name than Xeno Bundle though. 

  • This is deja Vu for the glass elevator. (A product was promoted for about a year before release)

    If this goes away for a year, I'll probably think I already own these when they arrive. lol

    1) Will this have dials to 'dial in' the mix between Genesis 8 and your character? You use Mophs in the title so....

    2) Would this be your first Daz release? I don't see a link to your store anywhere.

    3) This looks like the skin from Alien Ressurection. Are there going to be additional skin textures? 

    -Classic alien

    -Something new

    -More humanoid (I think human skin would be truly terrifying- especially if we are able to add those vein popping add-ons.

    1) Yes, this is a HD morphs with a dial to control the amount.

    JoLab,

    The new lights on the Xenohallway are a major improvement on what was already a most impressive set.  I wouldn't have thought it possible but you've managed to make it look even creepier.

    I don't do a lot of horror stuff but I'll definately be on the lookout for this one.

    Cool set, and I'll be waiting for it. Like some other people, I avoid G8 (too much invested in G3), but I'll make an exception for this.

    That version looks excellent! Much more useful for my own needs, as it happens, but I love that we'll be able to extend/retract the lights if ever necessary. The entire thing really is very 'Scorn'-like. Next stop, cocoons? :)

  • Irregular 'victim cocoons' made of resin are a feature I've wanted for ages, just to intersect over a Genesis figure and make them look like they're pasted against a wall/floor/ceiling. A set of Giger-inspired and resin/glue shaders might possibly have a similar effect if applied to irregular shapes, such as existing solid rock and fluid props.

    Maybe symmetrical womb-like ones, too, to look like 'bio-technological' methods of growing creatures upon alien architecture, too. I believe 'Scorn' shows something like that on its earlier trailer, too.

    wow, I absolutely love your Mutomorph bundle, I want everything!

    I have been watching stranger things lately, could you think of adding a fleshy pollywag to roam around this alien hallway too? lovely horror!

    That customizable Xeno-hallway looks interesting.  Any chance this set will have a 3DL option, or if not, offhand do you know how easily it will convert to 3DL if it is Iray-only?

    Sorry, I don’t support 3DL anymore and I don’t know how easy it will be to convert to 3DL.

    Unfortunately, I don’t have the time right now to make a new creature for this set with the holydays coming, even if it’s a simple pollywog. Maybe next time.

    more!!) and this is amazing!! I really can't wait.

    Can you make the head and body morphs separate? 

    Sometimes I like to mix in different heads and bodies, or even just be able to add that mouth to something else.

    Please can you make a ship to go with the interior? One thing I hate about buying so many sci fi interiors is finding ships that match them.

    Unfortunately, the head and body morphs are not separate with this character.

    A living bio-mechanoid spaceship is something I have been dying to make for a long time but never got the time to do. It’s definitely something I will do in the near future especially if this set is successful.

    Wow! It looks less xeno and more tribal/organic, looks way more versatile than I forst though! Will have to pick both up :)
