Released: Boys for Shape Master for Genesis 8 Male (commercial)
https://www.daz3d.com/boys-for-easy-shape-master-for-genesis-8-male
Released, 40% off as March Madness Release :) But for limited time only
This add on for Easy Shape Master for Genesis 8 Male utilizes the Shape Master controls and includes new custom morphs as well to give the shapes even more detail and variation.
Included are several full shape presets, head/body and face presets and lots of morph control dials.
6 different full character shape presets for boys, 6 different facial shape presets for boys and 6 different head/body shape presets beside some mixed presets. Beside the presets you get for each shape type a control dial you can use too. This enables you to customize the shapes even more more by dialing them in only less or much. You can also mix the dials to gain different results. Adjustment dials are part of the product too.
The shape presets range from younger (preteen) boys, over early teens up to older teens. You can vary the results of course by changing the dials. Bodies can be mixed with faces or used solely of course too.
This product does not include texture materials nor hair. It is a shaping/morph product. Results may vary depending on what other morphs or shape presets you are using. The promos show the Genesis 8 Male Base figure with no other morphs or customization applied except the ones of this product.

I'll add this to my library when it is released.
Looking forward to this.
Thank you guys :) Glad you like it
I asked Daz to set up a loyalty discount for owners of the base product. Have no confirmation yet, maybe they do not do it because of the March Madness.
But when it well get released at 40% off instead of the usual 30% this will have the same effect then, because the loyality discount I asked for was 10%.
QAV has been finished and a relase is scheduled.
It will be available soon :)
And here we go, released today and 40% as March Madness release :)

They also included a 10 percent discount. Thank you. I hope you made money on this. Very nicely done.
Hi, thank you :) And thanks for buying another product from me
Yes, I noticed that, I got the popup too, usually we do not get those since we already "own" all our products in the library. But maybe they changed that so that we see if a discount was set up or not.
Sales are going well, did not expect that for a male product, but I do not complain
I have this product, plus all the required problems, but most of the time when I click on the icons, nothing seems to happen. So I must be doing something wrong.
I load Genesis 8 male into the scene.
I locate this product under products in the product library.
I click on the prepare icon and it says that the figure is now prepared. But when I click on the body shapes, I don't see the body changing. I have Genesis 8 male selected.
So what am I missing?
I've also have gone to the Easy Body Shaping product and I click on some of those icons there, but I'm not seeing things change either.
I even tried deleting Genesis 8 Male and then readding him, but the icons don't seem to update the figure. (If you go from a child to a young man, shouldn't you see the body change?)
I would look for the morphs undering the shaping tab, but I don't know what they are called.
I have found the face morphs and they do change when I dial them.
Thanks.
Hi,
please try if the dials (when you dial them in directly instead of the presets) have an effect, like you did with the faces.
You should see the body change, it goes smaller etc.
The body dials should be located in either Parameter or Shape tab: Actor / Real World / Boys for Shape Master
You can also enter B4SM into the search filter box to get all Boys for Shape Master Dials listed.
Please also check if the Daz's Body Morph Pack is installed correctly and working. Those dials are located in: Actor / Full Body / Real World (for instance)
The Shape Master product requires the head and body morphs from Daz to be installed correctly and working, therefore please check if both are installed.
Same with the Shape Master dials and presets. I had a customer before who mas missing the Daz Body Morphs and he did not see any changes to the body. As you describe it, it sounds to me like the same reason.
The presets, do nothin else than dialing the dials in for a certain value. You cannot do much wrong there, when you get the "PREP" message G8M is already selected correctly.
As you said you saw the face change I assume that the Face Morphs are installed and working smoothly.
When you dial in one of the Full Boy dials slowly you should see G8M getting smaller and changing.
Please check the other steps as described and let me know if that helped.
Thanks
does it show "(OWNED) " for you on all requirements?
like in the image here?
Yes. I checked that. But here are some screen shots. (I have more of your products than just these by the way. I'll have to check and make sure that I wasn't using the version for Genesis 3. I think at least one of these product has a version for Genesis 3.
that looks correct, then please check if the morphs work when dialed in or if you can find them in the list (if they are installed correctly to the mapped content folder).
Yes, Shape Master is also there in a G3 version, but not the Boy Add ons for GU and SM.
And thanks for buying my stuff I think we talked before on Rendo? Was that you ?
you should have the folders:
Data \ DAZ 3D \ Genesis 8 \ Male \ Morphs \ Daz 3D \ Body
Data \ DAZ 3D \ Genesis 8 \ Male \ Morphs \ Daz 3D \ Head
for the DO Morph Packs
and
Data \ DAZ 3D \ Genesis 8 \ Male \ Morphs \ SF-Design \ ShapeMasterG8M
Data \ DAZ 3D \ Genesis 8 \ Male \ Morphs \ SF-Design \ BoysForShapeMaster3
in your content library folder , all with several files
I know we talked here. I go to Rendo sometimes, so we could have. All my DAZ stuff was installed through Connect. But I will verify that those folders are there.
On the shaping tab, will the morphs (shapes) be called the same thing as I find it those folders? I did find the head morphs and I was able to dial those in and the head did change.
I checked and I have all those folders. Daz Connect does put each product under it's product ID. So you would find the product ID and then there would a data folder etc under each.
But they do have a Daz Connect folder structure under Content Library that displays all the products just like they would for the DIM installs.
There is no error when I double click on the icons to apply them. I see a quick flicker...like maybe the script ran but nothing seems to change.
It looks like I was in the Genesis 3 folder and trying to apply them to Genesis 8.
When I was in the Genesis 8 folder and apply different icons, I could see the figure changing. Thanks for your help.
great, thanks for letting me know. Glad you worked that out!
Btw, the folder structure when installing with Connect is the same except the first folder with the ID, but then the sub folders are equal.
The "label" of the morphs is usually different than the filenames you find in the folders on your hard drive.
The labels are more descriptive while the filenames do not always let you know what it is about, usually the enduser does not come in contact with the DSF files themselves.
That to your question in your other post.
Most of my morph products have a suffix or prefix in the label, like B4SM (Boys for Shape Master) etc. , that enables you to better find all morph dials when you type that in the search filter.
This also makes the name unique and avoids name doubling with other morphs installed.
Cheers
