OMG this look Amazing!! Can't wait to see it, though the selfish part of me hopes it don't come out until my money comes lol
Hope you don't mind me asking, but I got curious but I suddenly came to think of my jedi healer in swtor and as such was wondering...how does this work when it comes to autofitting it to genesis 8 females? The clothing that is, doubt the beard and the character would work well on a female :)
Darnit, Luthbel! I only have so much money! :)
Does it support dForce? And would be G8f and G3 m/f also posible
Thanks friends for your kind words!!
Yeah, the clothes are designed for dForce, and it´s compatible with Genesis 8 Male. Maybe I´ll do a version for G8F, but it will be a diferent set.
What a bummer, it is fun putting women into men clothes
So, we will not see G3 support?
Nope. The rigging+dforce setup of this clothing set took me 3 weeks of work (almost the same as modeling and texturing it), not including the quality assurance. Traditionally, I do my clothing sets exclusive for one figure because of that. It was fun to rig this set, because I learnt all the ins and outs of dforce, but at the same time it was too time consuming.
Doesn't most G8 clothes work quite well with G3 anyway? At least that's my impression from the stuff I use...
Yes, some work quite well. But there are many which have weight maps issue, at least when I use the auto fit clone.
It‘s always much much more comfortabler to have a native G3 product, but I was not aware that this is for clothing so much work.
This is excellent. The entire ensemble is great, but I'll also be able to use the various elements. I'm looking forward to it!
Excellent! We can always count on you to dress our men. I own your whole store except Lycanthropos and M3 stuff. I've been begging for a Giorgio Armani-type men's business suit for three years. I hope you feel inspired to give us one of those before the year is out. Glad to see you're still at work.
Wow! Great work Luthbel!
Terrific set, I can’t wait for it to get to the store.
This set looks amazing! I will be waiting in line.
Wow. a Mixture of Gimli the dwarf and Dumbledore... :) Looks amazing.
This is astonishing. You are making me write a story around this character now.
Shame on you.
Errr... I'd like to know how much was done in post and how much is the actual figure....
--- The SKIN looks ridiculous...is that the real skin or enhanced somehow using something else....?
--- The hairs look too good....is that post worked?
Can't believe it's not butter!
I mean that's the ULTIMATE Merlin if there ever was one.
Thanks guys for you kind words!
And don´t forget the Merlin of the 70s Excalibur movie ;)
-I´ve used a mix of photo reference, photogrammetry, hand sculpt and paint and PBR conversion and tweaking with Quixel Suite to add some extra fine detail and make it look better in Iray.
-All the images are pure render with 0% postwork. The beard look that way rendered. I´ve used iRadiance HDRI´s for the renders, but the iRay sun renders very well too. This time, not even levels or brightness-contrast. Even the light effects are emissive objects I created for the renders.
Impressive outfit and character. It's on my imaginary wishlist.
-All the images are pure render with 0% postwork.
I say impossible. I will certainly be buying this and several of your other vendor-day stuffs.
P.S. 70s Merlin is the ONLY Merlin I am aware of.
My and my sisters can quote the entire movie from start to finsih.
See if you can find that early trailer where they pitched Merlin's voice up six octaves. It's hilarious.
Oh, found it.
Could be that using dforce after autofitting to G3 will work. This looks so awesome, I'll be getting it for sure! I can then test it out on G3 also.
YES! Am always looking for wizard robes. And older characters.
You seem to have hit all the bases on this one. Splendid variety and lovely options. Echoes several of the basics from several generations back. But much, much better.
I like the addition of the skullcap, that's something that's been needed for a wizard wardrobe. Can the cape hood be worn down?
Holy wow.
Yes, I included a dforce material preset just for the hood: it falls to the back shoulders in a natural way when running a dforce simulation.
Looks like a really great pack!
Too bad that he's missing some vital things which would make him a proper Discworld Wizard...
so, from me it's only 9/10 pts..
This is perfect for the types of renders I do
I soooo love your stuff. :)
Laurie
Love it!!!
Will it be usable without using dforce? As in, will it have movement morphs and such? Reason I ask is that dforce tend to crash my computer 9 tiems out of 10. I like dForce but my computer truly hate it *sheepish smile* (and no, not having movements morphs won't be a deal breaker or anything, just curious so I know in advance :) )
