[released] Instruments: HD Saxophone and Poses (commercial)

Hi!

Fully rigged alto saxophone with playing poses is on its way to the store. 100% realistically working key mechanism, turning neck and twisting mouthpiece, adjustable simple neck strap, all parts very high in detail. Several material choices (from light pure metal without texture maps to full blown aged brass materials) and poses ready for any classical or jazz gigs. Zero prop can easily be placed as a conversation piece or decoration.

    Poses are for Genesis 8, but I just tested with Genesis 3 and G8->G3 pose converter and only a minimal adjustment is needed if in very close-up setting.

    Wow good job! I guess the only thing missing is that DAZ studio cant simulate the sound coming out. Would be cool, a "render sound" button , haha.

    That's a crazy amazing bit of animating on the piano video!  I have to admit, I am too classically minded to need a sax, but the modelling work, rigging, and textures look positively awesome!

    I made a Animated Sax a while back, which proved to be dificult to do using Blender then finished in Daz Studio a lot of work to say the least

    Didnt get around to oackaging it LOL

    Here it is playing

    As A keyboard player I had to find out how a Sax worked, I played C The Sax played something else LOL

    A good program I found was was Sax Tutor you can see what keys play when a Keyboard note is played

    I used Casuals great  MIDILoad script and a Script I made using Excel to get it to work

    It was fantastic to see instruments working, lots of fun

    Casual made us a free 88 key and a 62 key keyboards which was great fun to animate

    I also converted a Piano and made my own mech to go inside

    I tried the drums as well but not to good at that LOL

    Can't find enough superlatives. Having dabbled w/ midi when it (and I) were new, I am in awe of your pieces. My wife came in while the video was playing and wanted to know where we could buy the music.

    Awesome instrument. Very, very impressed.

    Hey sax music..., just throw on some Grover Washington jams while you got the render goin' on. Works for me :)
