A couple of months ago, I promised you all a look at a darker-skinned Indian character I was working on...

Well, I finally got her tall butt in a condition to actually be looked at.

The first image is of Ipsa by herself, and the other with crewmates Amy and Joy. I've veen experimenting with height, so no, none of them are G3F's base height. Amy and Joy are shorter (Joy moreso than Amy), and Ipsa much taller. Joy's about Josie-sized, and Amy five or so centimeters taller than Joy.

Ipsa's over two meters. Probably not by a lot, but enough for her to stand out in a crowd.

It's always great to stop in here to see the latest and very inspiring too!  I have to say I love the Smacky pinup SnowSultan and it's been too long since I rendered her so that's my project for this weekend. :)

Here are a couple dial-spun and custom morphed characters.   I'll leave it to you to guess what the base figure is.

ETA:  I know her necklace is sinking in but since I'm planning on rendering her in a 3d environment I'm going to fix it then.

Thank you very much! I've been sick for about a week and am just now catching up on what's been going on around here and elsewhere. If you do decide to render a Smacky pic again, please let me know so I can take a look and post some links to it!  :)

Thank you! Coming from you Fisty,  that means a lot =)

  • Here's a dark skinned beauty from Rendo. She's a V4 character that I converted using the batch skin converter and Genx to G2. Couldn't do a thing in iray with her but between the Iray Converter for Generation 4 and some tweeking a nice lights, I thinks she looks pretty good.

All renders look amazing! Great job! I'm posting a link to Hellboy's amazing version of Darius/Scott6.

And here is one of my renders, using OOT hair shader.

Very nice and soft skin setting :)

  • V3digitimes, thanks for the comment.  I was unable to get this texture to render in iray using any other shader, all i could see was her eyes.  This was made possible by your wonderful G4 converter product.. I adore this product it is possible to breathe new life in my older V4 textures especially the darker skinned ones. And with very little effort too... Everybody needs this product. Looking forward to the G2, but take your time I know you will deliver an awesome product.

magnumdaz, that really is a lovely image.

Something I did using the EJ Etta texture and some of the Modernwizard freebie G3F morphs. Clicking on it should take you to a larger version at deviantArt. I think.

I picked up Felicity recently, so now I have three good black skins (Benjamin, Felicity, and Skin Builder)

With GenX2 so I can move Ethnic morphs from Genesis, I have a lot of fun opportunities. Also picked up Omri hair, which is a nicely flexible range of options.

She ended up looking an awful lot like the actress Cynthia Addai-Robinson (Amanda Walker from Arrow, among other things)

This is a character I created with Genesis and Niara's skin, with my own morphs for the face.  Handspan Studios Head Morph Resource Kits helped to get the lips the shape I wanted.  Measure Metrics has her at 6 feet tall.

By the way, how do you get your picture to be full size on the screen, rather than a thumbnail?

    Here is my meager contribution.

Great image.  What is the background sky on that?

For your image, click on the thumbnail and copy the url, then go to edit and add an image from the edit icons, input your url and make sure the width is no more than 800, in target, you can set to new window, input the same url and then save.

Image:  I picked that up from Pixabay.  They have many gorgeous FREE stock photos.

I'm having trouble getting my image to full size:

I opened my image thumbnail and copied the URL.  I opened up my previous post via Edit, and clicked on Image and the Image Properties box is open.  I set the width to 800 and then clicked on the Link tab and set target to New Window.  The URL box won't allow me to paste - do I have to manually input the URL?  Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Go into edit on your post where I put in the larger image.  Click on the image in the edit window and then the image insert icon to see the settings.  Note that I input width to 800...in Target, I set it to open in a new window.  You shouldn't have to input by hand; not sure why it won't let you paste.
