Are there any hair models out there similar to Rochelle's from Left 4 Dead 2?
Vertiga, there is a modeler named "SideB" at rendo that creates very nice looking "ethnic" hair types.
Can't seem to find this person on the site.
The vendor name is "Samsil" - SdeB is a different version of the name that they use sometimes. Samsil is also a vendor here at Daz.
That said, he doesn't have a hairstyle that's much like the specific one in the pictures.

a new product of mines
Just a quickie with Akila, who's pretty new in the store. (I moved the body dials around, and I threw on a background that I banged together with GIMP.)
Handspan Studios makes the most amazing characters. Here are Eden and Akila

She looks great! Her eyes and nose remind me of Brandy, who I always thought was so beautiful.
When it’s about rendering black skin, I just tweak the top coat for body parts to one number, and top coat lip values with another number.
Plus, I modify the dual lobe weight.
These days I also apply Anagenessis II for black skins, which many times improve results in my postwork process.
In any case, I would like to point that I am amazed how Monica 7 iray skins still, until this day, are the best ones for me. Although Priya’s for GF3 are also there at the top along Monica’s.

I didn't even realize I had already bought Eden.
Her face was so pretty, I couldn't pass her up at the time. I simply have such a huge backlog of figures to render.
(There are worse problems than being a serial collector of pretty 3d models, I think.)
Here's Eden. Desert Watcher outfit, which was from the Olympia 8 pro bundle (plus the add-on texture pack). Karissa Hair.
Body shaping... 55% Eden, 25% Monique, 20% Aiko. Face untouched, but slightly larger nose (per my own tastes).
Also, I used the Rib Detail off of Sakura 8 (I never thought I'd like Sakura, but RareStone packed her with a lot of morphs!). The ribs give a little deformation for the skinny waif model look. Wasn't going for thicc.
Pretty :), I like that outfit, used it for my Akila renders, I had a little trouble with the scarab. I hid it too.

Not mentioned so far that I can see is 'Ellis'. Beautiful shape, and out of interest I tried a Caucasian version too. Her head morph had to be toned down to 35% otherwise it was too strong for the paler skin. Otherwise both have the same morphs.
Second image was Ellis on the beach. I know I have to learn how to use the hdri scenes more effectively..

Yes! I don't know what is wrong with that scarab! You move the chest region and the scarab flips out. It's very strange. At least the part isn't integral to the rest of the outfit.
I didn't even register that I used the same outfit as the Akila promos. My eyes were drawn to the face on Akila, I guess.
Some might prefer every day clothing, but I prefer costumes and fantasy wear. (I include school uniforms in my "fantasy" category, lol. Maybe another Akila render later, with a schoolgirl outfit.)
