Daz Studio/new April Nvidia Studio driver

Does Daz Studio benefit from this new Nvidia Studio Driver?

Does the new driver help any with rendering with a RTX3090 in Daz?

Thanks for any responses... :)

  • Watching with interest. I don't have the RTX3090 yet but am hoping to acquire one when sanity returns to the marketplace. Might take a few years when it's not the latest, etc. but that's okay with me.

Possibly, keeping your GPU driver up to date is always a good idea with Daz Studio and because the RTX3090 is a current device doubly so. It's also a good idea to keep a copy of your previous driver in case you need to roll back.

    Best Wishes
    Steve.

Will these technologies be implimented into Daz Studio?

They might if by a PA. But it's highly unlikely to be anytime soon. Like with most 3rd party 3D models, there is the issue of the models being completely different. One of the things I am working on as a side project is to create a map database and projector for the G8/G8.1 vertexs for realignment with third part models. So something similar to like say shrink wrap in blender can be applied to get them to match. The original goal was to freely create in z-brush or other software characters and then easily drop them into Daz. However this will always be extremly limited as long as we don't have access to HD imports.
