How to set exact time for an animation?

Hello everyone!

I am in the stage of learning the animation part from Daz. I want to create a 10 seconds animation, or a max of 15 seconds. Is there a way I can set this anywhere? Or I just need to run the animation and check every time how long it will be?

Thank you!

  • Desired Frames per Second times Time + 1 will give the number of frmaes you need, which you can set in the Timeline.

It's frames per second times the number of seconds you want, so 24 fps x 10 seconds would give you 240 frames. Professional animators would generally make 1 keyframe every 2 seconds (they duplicate those keyframes to make 24 keyframes). The computer algorithm of the animation program you are using figures out the movement of your figure using it's bones then.
