Canvas Folder being created for each image saved

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

Starting yesterday daz has been creating a folder with an exr file with the same name of every image I save. Any idea why it is doing this and how to make it stop?

    Yes, you have enabled Canvases in the Render Settings Advanced tab, or you loaded a product scene that enabled it. 

    Open the Render Settings pane and select the Advanced tab then the Canvases subtab.

    Uncheck the Canvases checkbox.

    thank you so much! I have no idea how I checked it, don't even know what Canvas is. But that fixed it.

    It may not have been "your fault". I once purchased a PC+ product that turned Canvases on. I believe it was a mistake. I reported it and the product was fixed. You may have run into something like that. But if it happens again, now you know how to correct it.
