What file types can be used when printing a final image?

Exactly that. Can I print a Jpeg image?

Most printers that I have ever seen can print JPEG images, what printer will you be using, and what software will you be printing it from?
You can save a render in DAZ Studio as a JPG image, or PNG, TIF or BMP. All printers should be able to print at least JPG and PNG.
perhaps I used the wrong wording. What file type will Daz 4.7 "download" to my pc?
Is that what you mean? Downloading tends to mean getting something via the internet. Do you just mean whqt filetypes can DS save a render to?
No, I'm asking if DS will send me a jpeg because I will want to do additional work on the image in GIMP to create a book cover.
DAZ Studio does not 'send' you anything, and I already answered your question twice.
You use DAZ Studio to create 3D scenes using figures, environments, lighting and cameras. You then 'Render' that image and save it as a JPEG. You can then load that JPEG image into Gimp or any other similar software, and then print it.
Dis you download and install DAZ Studio? It is not an internet service of any kind, it is a 3D software program.
Ahhh, yes you did answer my question...twice. The wording on the studio confused me. I thought Daz was holding the image until They sent it. Now I get it; it's already on my pc and I can copy to my files. Thanks Addict, I'm still a greenhorn; I'm sure you can tell.
Rendering is the term used in the 3D world for producing images from 3D scenes.
If you look for that term in the Help > User Guide, you should find something to help you. The window that appears when you render a scene, has a box at the bottom where you can fill in a name, select the image type, and where you want to save it.
The last render that you have done, is kept in memory for that session, and you can also go to File > Save Last Render and save it as well.
There is a lot to learn when first starting in 3D, now that we know what you are trying to do, I'm sure we can help a lot more.
Just start a new thread, and post any queries that you have to this forum.
10-4 and thanks again!
