It may have completed anyway, happened to me a couple of times. Check your order history.
A few months ago, an official Daz personage proclaimed that there would be ongoing categorization updates/tweaks in the store. I haven't seen them. Genesis 8 and 8.1 People categories are still full of non-People items at a 25-33% ratio, with newly added non-People items daily. Genesis 8 Core Figures keep getting newly added items, even though the last Genesis 8 Core Figure was well over a year ago. Similar situation for the Genesis 8.1 Core Figures.
Request - can we put the links to the readme files back on the store page for the individual items, please? I often cannot locate a product in my library, and the only way to find it is to use the readme to see where it lives!
The readme links came from the Daz Deals plug-in, not from Daz itself.
Oh! Sorry! I thought they were left out when the store changed over. I didn't realise they were part of the Daz Deals plug-in, I just got used to seeing them there!
SOOOOOOO why doesn't Daz do it? It shouldn't have to be a plug-in. It just MAKES SENSE
Good question! Renderosity does it. Even I do it fo rmy site! It isn't that difficult.

Something I noticed a few days ago, maybe a week. On the order confirmation page, the prices shown are not the price paid. There is a pattern there, and it appears that the number displayed is (2 * price paid) - MSRP. Don't know who dreamt that up, but clearly the wrong formula... And, why even calculate it? It's already done on the invoice, wherever that number resides.
Someone flagged a similar issue up in the sales thead last night, I've added yours to the report we sent in. In their case it looked as if the discount was being taken off twice from the items, though the sub-totals on that page and the final invoice were correct.
...this may be a bit OT and not sure if I asked this previously, but does Daz3D still use Magento as it's store software?
This is important as it could relate to a situation I recently experienced.
No, not since the great store change.
It has been corrected. The page shows correct sale prices.
Good, thank you for the update.
..so which e-commerce platform is Daz with now?
Google App Engine with Datastore
...thanks.
Back to more research.
I really like the new "Super-sized" product thumbnails that I'm seeing this morning on the Daz3d site!
Now, if those wishlist Heart Icons could just be enlarged, it would make it easier/quicker to spot them.
...The store search function is still seriously buggered.
Tonight I was looking for an item for G2F. As I don't remember the name (and the genre isn't one of the filter selections) form the sidebar I simply selected "Genesis 2 Female". 43 pages of products come up defaulting to the filter "Relevance" filter. I changed it to "New Arrivals" and when the page refreshed, all the character bundles are listed on the first page. These should be "peppered" throughout the 43 pages of products based on when they were released according to the filter used. When I switched to "Price Low to High" again it didn't sort properly as I'll be going along and then find lower priced items further down the page after ones that show a higher price. After about 90 minutes I gave up.
I have a basic Idea of when the item was released but the page sort no matter which category filter I use on the upper right of the page seems totally random, making any search an absolute chore to find anything. As I don't recall the product name I also cannot do a Google search for it. I just remember what it looked like and what genre it should be under (which again is not a listed option on the left side of the page).
Get Ati's plugin. Then you'll get the option to only show Wishlist items and filter out everything else.
Ok, no longer maximum 5 thumbnails vertically, but why do the thumbnails get bigger if I strech the browser window vertically?
Also the thumbnails ignore the zoom settings on the page if I go below 80%
That's called Responsive display, it's a feature of modern CSS design. It allows content to be displayed properly on any device, regardless of actual screen size. It also reacts to window size changes (initiated by the user) on a desktop or laptop. There should be a minimum size things would shrink to and then change the layout entirely if it goes beyond that. For instance, sometimes they would make it change a horizontal menu to a vertical menu that drops down when you click on what some call the hamburger icon (three horizontal lines). Or the number of thumbnails shown in a row would drop, so their size could stay at a reasonable dimension. How far this is taken is up to the web designers and programmers.

DAZ should get older web designers
...I have that however the product isn't on my wishlist because of the usual "sexy" styling. I was looking for it to use as an example on another thread.
Finally found it.
Speaking of wishlists, my Wish List page doesn't seem to load any of the filters when I click on them.
I'm not liking the new super sized icons. If the search is next to useless and it often is.. then I have way way way way more scrolling to do. (First world problems... Am I right?)
I don't think the bigger pictures will improve how things sell. I mean, if I'm interested, I need to pull up the item, then look at its details and pictures to see if its what I want, and that part of the process is never going to change.
Maybe this could be offered as a setting in people's accounts? I can see how some people would like it, but to me its just irritating.
+1
I would rather look at 30 smaller icons in one row than just a few huge ones
Yet there are others who like it how it is. Can't please everyone. Gonna keep whichever brings in the traffic more so I guess its a waiting game once testing is completed.
If it followed the zoom setting of the browser, it could please everyone.
W10 Edge: 100% zoom shows four or five thumbnails across (four if less than about 2/3 of the screen), but they get progressively bigger until full screen. The count jumps to 8 across if I set the zoom to 80% or less in full screen, or at 50% in a restored window (not full screen). I usually do not use full screen, and am used to five across. That hasn't changed for me recently, so I didn't notice any difference.
Looks like the Wishlist page navigation works both at the top and bottom, and goes to the top of the selected page, but now the filters don't work. Loading... Loading... Loading...
