Just came across this announcement. Have known this creator a long time, he made some wonderful things, he will be missed, Renderosity did a wonderful page for him and hope this link is okay for Daz

Oh no :(
Rest in peace.
This was very sad news.
sad sad. Phil was a great person. I had pretty much all of his tools for Poser
He helped me a fair bit while I was learning Poser. He'll be sorely missed.
Regards,
Richard
Condolences to family and friends. What a loss to the community. I was a big fan of his wardrobe wizard back in the day. He always provided helpful support for the plugin. RIP.
Note to Carrararists, this is PhilC, not PhilW.
I always regretted not buying that when it was available and now that will never happen
I still actually use P7
my P11 weightmapped fittings leave a lot to be desired and take quite a bit of fluffing around to work in my other 3D softwares as well as P7
I use his multi obj importer in Poser all the time to get complex sets into DAZ and Carrara as well after saving as pz3
while I didn't know him personally at all (not ever having even communicated online) his skills will certainly be missed
he gave me his phone number so I could call him ... that's how he was..open. A really nice guy..but that is how the Poserverse was way back.
He was a great guy. I will miss him.
So sad. Rest in peace, PhilC.
PhilC was a helpful and generous guru back in the old Poser days. We have lost a great man.
A creative soul of kindness. He is surely missed.
I remember his tools, and the name of course, from way back then, during my first forays into 3d art. Sad to hear he's gone, but hopefully to a lovely and extremely high-detailed, dynamic and fully rigged place ...
He was kind enough to create a Wardrobe Wizard character/morph for me that I dearly needed, back in version 1 and I had to force him to accept any payment. My world's a little sadder without him.

Dang... My condolences to his family and loved ones.
He'll be missed, he answered a bunch of my questions back when there was a forum a Smith Micro (or whatever was the official Poser forums).
Man. We keep losing the OGs.
i'm sorry to hear that. Condolences to her church, family & friends.
I remember him using Poser and helpful way back in the early 2000s making morphs. I was surprised to find he was living in Lexington, Kentucky, of all places, as I assumed he was in England. I graduated unversity there and it's a lovely area to live or visit, although it's grown tremendously. If any PA wants to ever expand the morphs for the DAZ Horse 3 the Kentucky Horse Park in that area has quite a few breeds on display. Also there is a horse race track, a harness race track, and more horse and harness tracks north towards Louisville and Cincinatti.
:( RIP PhilC
Sad News. I used his utilities as well as his freebies often.
RIP Phil
When I first started with Poser in 1996 or 7, PhilC's page was one of the first places I landed on. He contributed to many of my very first renders. RIP :'(
This is so sad. He was a great creator and generous. He was only one year older than me. PhilC will be missed.

Here's the official obit.
I remember when his page was one of my regular haunts looking for new freebies to clutter my sparse little runtime with.
RIP~
Same here :( Didn't even know what I was really doing at the time, but his freebies made things a lot easier. RIP PhilC.
