Nice to get a freebie, but are these only accessible through DAZ Central? There's no download link in my product library.

When you read the product, I suspect it's a case of collect all eggs and you get the shader set, but it's not abundently clear from my (slightly half asleep still) read through if it implies that each egg is an item plus you get a gift for collecting them all
I went back and finally noticed this:

Free items will be automatically added to your account the day after each Easter Egg series ends.

I had just put the one 'egg' in my cart and moved on. The shaders by Digital Delirium have been great so I don't see a problem with it.
And yeah, DAZ Marketing is sucking me in again. But I start my mornings on the store (after scanning my news feeds) so I don't see an issue.

So probably we are speaking about 5-7 free items for April which is a nice change for PC+
I get it. Gets you to check the store everyday, which I do anyway unless out in the woods where there's no cell coverage. So its not a different product for each egg but 4 eggs equalks 1 product? Then if you get all 4 you get another product? PITA for something so simple, but free is free, I guess.
Maybe I'm so old now that playing games to me isn;t what I wnt to do with my time, but I'm here anyway.
You may be right. My mathimatical guess is 12 free products. A daily offering for four days, the extra freebee on the 5th day because 5x6 = 30)
Four partial items = 1 product. (4 days of easter hunting)
1 product = 1 extra Freebee (if released on 5th).
Subtotal = 2 items in 5 days (then we hunt again for 4 days)
Total =12 freebies
But who knows? This is simply a guess. Which is what easter hunting is all about :) Thank you DAZ.
Lucky you. I miss the woods. They were a big part of my past until I left Canada in 1999.
Since the "Easter egg" items aren't real, what I'm thinking is that your reward for picking up all of the Easter eggs in one series is that you get the item they were partials of. That is, you pick up all four "quarters" of Metal Grill Shaders over these four days, your reward is ... Metal Grill Shaders, and it will actually become available to you for download the day after the series ends. This makes the egg graphic make much more sense; we'll literally see a quarter of the item in the image in each "Easter egg."
I think it may confuse people because you do have to put these partial items into cart and "buy" them for the store to register that you got them, and there's going to be someone who says "OK, I bought it, was something supposed to happen?"
They can do either four or five series of Easter eggs. They can't do six; they don't have enough April. They say in several places the promotion ends on April 30, and the item page for the first Easter egg says that the bonus free character for staying the entire course will be given out on May 1.
So, either four or five freebies if you're diligent, plus the free figure at the end if you've caught all your Pokemon.
this is one thread that should be in the DAZ+ forum seeing how many on products non members can actually still buy are frequently hidden there

All four pieces in a series must be collected in order to receive the free gift. Collect all of the Easter Eggs for the month of April to receive an additional free character before the end of the day May 1."
[italics mine] They generally do mean something specific when they say "character."
I tried to find the 2nd Easter Egg this eve, and the only thing available was the first one which I 'bought' last night.
So I re-bought it, in case they just haven't updated the icon. But it's called "1 of 4" in the cart and the same, also now, in my props list (or whatever you call that downloading section)...
Hm, maybe my NoScript is blocking something... I'll check that. No comments about that here, so I guess it's just me.

Update: It's now considered 'purchased'. So I guess they're just not changing the icon to reflect which number of four we're clicking...

There's another one when Sunday starts at Dazland, not before.
Is there a way to find out if you missed any easter eggs? I got this 1 https://www.daz3d.com/daz-easter-egg--dd-pbr-metal-grille-shaders--2-of-4 ; but pretty sure I missed 1. I didn't know this was started.
We started on the 8th so there were no eggs on the first 7 days.... that leaves just 23 days. 23 days is just 5 products it's missing a day to be 24 days and 6 products. (+1 Extra for collecting all eggs)
Another way to think about it is if there are 4 days with egg and the 5th will be the product day. (They might do this not to mess up things.) If they do this there will be 4 free products (+1 Extra for collecting all the eggs)
If you collect every Easter Egg in the month of April <= This is just the end of the month, not every 4th-5th day.
The first one was "Daz Easter Egg - DD PBR Metal Grille Shaders for Iray Vol 1 - 1 of 4" yesterday (Saturday, April 8th DazTime - Midnight at Dazland was 3 hour ago)
It would have been great if I actually knew anything about it, YESTERDAY! I didn't receive a newsletter yesterday. So I didn't check the website. If they had announced it previous I would have. So not a clue about the Easter eggs and of course I missed the first part. (insert a lot of swearing) Not a happy bunny here.
Yep, completely agree with you, I didn't get one yesterday either.

I didn't buy anything during March Madness this year, I think my wallet and credit cards are throwing a party.
I'm sitting this out. Too many weird gimmicks lately.
I did get the email flyer Saturday either but a sort from cheap to high price showed to easter egg 1st Saturday but today, Sunday that same sort does not show the 2nd easter egg! I followed a link (thanks) in this thread to find it!
Also, technically, if we are being all eastery the promo should have started on Friday
My bet (hope) is the character will be a new toon style bunny, duck, chick, lamb, some sort of traditional Easter animal.
Sorry if I missed it but just looked at my product library and saw the 2 easter eggs I grabbed so far and the picture of them shows a progression. The first egg image shows a quarter of the whole image. The second egg image shows a half of the whole image. So to me, it looks like all four easter eggs will complete the full picture so is probably just one product.
..so what happens if you missed one? I was out all day yesterday and didn't get home until after "Daz Zero Hour" (in my local time zone).
To summarize:
Let's say that you get 3 out of the first 4 Easter eggs, you get 3 free sets of shaders. If you collect 4, you get 5 free products. If you collect all of the Easter eggs of the month (let's say that there are 8 of them), you get a total of at least 10 free products. Yiou lose nothing if you are just collecting them as you notice them, you just don't get the bonuses.

I could be misreading something, but I do not believe that is correct. The promotion says, "Collect all 4 in a series to get a FREE* Item!"
I think thats a max of 4 to 5 items if they're all 4 "eggs" per + 1 extra at the end of April if you got them all. Please, correct me if I am wrong.
EDIT: For example, I've collected yesterday's "1 of 4" and today's "2 of 4" and have no new items in DC or DIM. I believe the singular shader pack will be released on the fourth or fifth day and automatically show up in the product library for anyone who got all 4. That's what it seems like anyway.
That doesn't seem right.
The first item is the metal grate shaders, which is being presented in quarters -- one quarter-product per egg -- and you need to collect all four quarters across four days to get ONE (1) free product, the complete metal shaders set. If you miss one of those four parts, you do not get the metal shaders AND you will not be eligible to get the free character product at the end of the promotion.
You are right.... nonetheless, if you choose to participate, you probably can join the next round of eggs.
