Wow, Now THAT is a Deal!

Now I'm sure I've missed some awesome deals!

Always read all the language on the deal pages... those pages that pop up when you click the 'ads' in the upper left of the store, and that line across the top... there's presently a deal where you buy one of the new items, and 90% off.... ANY bundle?? So, I was buying the new hippy girl outfit anyway, its in the cart... I sort by price > highest-lowest... And there is the 'Staff Picks Fantasy Mega Bundle' for $300... added to my cart and it was only $30! SOLD! So many new toys!

Anyway, I guess just a post that if you're not aware of the verbiage on those pages, you could be passing up some good loot! I was clued into this when I bought Nathan 9, and then only later did I see there was like two extra items I could have added to my cart for free... I went back to get those, only to discover they were no longer free... and the language does indeed state 'must be in the cart at the same time'... So now I know, and I want to pass along the wisdom to always check those deals! 

Now I'm off to go make scenes with all these dragons and centaurs and I'm not even sure what-all. laugh

    It might not be obvious, if you aren't used to Daz sales, so: If you're interested in another ‘Oasis’ New Release, you can get 90% off another bundle.

    You already got the best deal with the fantasy bundle, and Daz Originals get good discounts on a frequent basis, so don't feel like you're missing out if you don't buy a second. Just be aware of the option. :)

    Great for newbies, yes. But most of the long-time users already have everything they want from those older bundles. These sales really are created with newbies in mind, most deals are pretty meh for those of us who have been here a while.

    And some if us already own all the bundles;  so, nothing left there for us to get. And also  no orange for owning them all.

    I wouldn't necessarily say that. Even with thousands of items in library, there are plenty of items I (and likely many others) might like and haven't got.

    I've been picking into bundles for quite a long time so it ends up I already have most out of them that I want, making these sales a no go for me.

    I agree. Many of the bundles have clothing or evironments I might not have wanted to buy for $25 stand-alone, but in this sale they become the equivelant of $2.50 with all the other stuff.

    I am in a similar place. Some of these bundles, at this price (especially after tokens) still offer worthwhile value. I actually took a few minutes the other day and made a list of the ones that have stuff left that interests me for this sale or others that will come along.

    I ended up going with SY's intense muscle and the aliens vs troopers bundle. I didn't have any of the items. No tokens, but 30% off 3 items coupon. So $21.05 . If I had got in on the gift card flash sale, it would have been a little less. Still, net 90% off. A little more than a dollar per item, if looking at it that way. Very nice.     I played around with it for a bit... but I'm one of those old-timers that already has such an extensive library that I just couldn't make it work for myself, despite the stacking discounts. But I'm glad if some folks got a good deal out of it!

    Those were good choices! While running the math on which bundles had the best price to item ratio I noticed that one had a ton of stuff in it.

    As I was waiting for a sale on a few other things anyway, I used the 30% off 3 coupon to pick up some tokens, combined those with the $7 off $20 coupon, and got my first pro bundle at a discount of around 96%. A $135 base value for only $5.67!

    That was definitely a great offer for newer users!
