Lightning Deals not working?

So, yesterday I tried to put a lightning deals item in my cart. It came up with a different price from the lightning deals listed price (it was higher). Today, I just tried to put a lightning deal item in my cart that is advertised at $2.91 and when it hits my cart it is $3.64. 

I've picked up lightning deals items before with no issues so I'm wondering - is it broken, interacting with another sale and so showing the wrong discount, etc.?

Thanks in advance if anyone knows what's up.
