Very beautiful eyes and a cute profile. However, after Josie 9, I have no need for more white dolls.
*sigh*...another Thorne doll. I don't like to bash PA's (and I'm not really...I know people like them), but I've been seeing the same face for over 20 years. ;)
Is she a Thorne creation? She looks to me like a Thorne character dialled at a lower percentage. Which is how I use all Thorne morphs, anyway.
I think she looks really nice, and her mixes with other characters look great, too. Her lips are still a bit much when she smiles.
To me she looks all-around better than Josie, but she has less interesting skin and a little less personality than Kiri.
Sidenote: Much has been made of G9s realistic eyes, and they do look great; but I think a character like Ally may actually look better with slightly more stylised eye materials.
So, despite the constant advertising for the last week stating that buying Kayla would result in discounts on future figures, it looks like there's nothing being applied on Ally.
The Ally character looks okay but, as has been mentioned, it's yet another Thorne doll so she's not particularly unique in any sense nor does she add anything in terms of DNA into the mixing pool. The clothes and hair in the bundle are an okay selection, but when one factors in the fact that the makeup would have been rolled into the figure with all preceding generations, it's means that this bundle is really just the figure, three outfits and two hairs for a full retail price of $129.95.... roughly half of the product per dollar value that came with Genesis 8. If DAZ isn't going to follow through on the promise they amade about additional bonuses for previous figures, I'm not seeing much reason to buy this now.
Too similar for me I think, and no vouchers to bring the price down for me this week.
It does look like there is a bit more subtle variation in the surface texture for Ally, at least for the face.
Edit - and the legs look a bit sunburnt. Maybe she's been on holiday

Not to mention, the missing discounts for buying Nathan...
To me they look the same.
I like her and the 50% off one item code that I got this morning brought the bundle down to $28, which I can't grumble at. Without the code would have taken deeper thought though.
Hahah I was thinking the exact same thing. The only core figure I've had any interest in since this great render challenge was started was Kala 9 which was an insta-buy for me, but Ally is an insta-pass this week.
Daz really needs to lure RareStone back from wherever they've skittered off to for a proper anime figure. That's not directly related to Ally, but what is there to say about yet another Thorne figure?

Bit surprising to see another anime-ish toon girl this soon. Not bad, but Josie and Pixie were more-or-less free during the holiday sales, and I purchased Kiri, so I'd rather have seen a male counterpart than another female character.
I like her- she's undoubtedly cute - and her set of eyes look great. But this time I'll only buy the make-up for kitbashing.

They look like they are from one of the two Death Stranding Mama characters over at renderhub.
There are a couple of make up sets (maybe three) that will come in handy. Probably not that one

I like the bundle, some nice outfits in there. I also like Xing Hair, it's great that it's not similar to what I already have.

Double post... so I'll just say that mouse is adorable and definitely upstages Ally.
I would have preffered Ally over Josie or Pixie. Wish she had a realistic skin texture instead of the toon texture. So I guess she bundle goes in the wishlist.

I noticed that the Ally character itself does not appear to come with makeup. Is that right? I would have to also buy the Ally makeup in addition to the character?
or the bundle, but it does seem to eb the way theya re going with these Genesis 9 characters (on the other hand, if you wanted make-ups the older Name Number characters usually had less than a handful, not - as I recall - set up for mixing and matching).
There does seem to be a discount, though with no on-site it is not clear what it is or how it works.
