Daz Studio scene. Windows 11. One Genesis 9 figure and some Daz purchased Genesis 8 clothing and hair plus a few primitives. Have been doing some test renders and all was fine. Suddenly got the following error
"Error Unable to Render, Renderer already in use"
I have canceled the old render. I have gone to render pane and reset to default settings. Still get the error. I have checked Windows task manager but I don't lnow what to look for. Only one Daz Studio program appears to be running, meaning I don't see anything that looks like an ongoing render.
Now what?

Save the scene and restart your computer. Sometimes a restart of Daz doesn't fix it.
it's happened to me on Win7&10 too
What are your computer specs, how much RAM, which GPU and how much free space do you have on the drive used for temp files?
restart daz
Thank you, everyone who responded. Much appreciated. I tried to respond earlier but the forum software was borking up, and not letting me attach a screengrab, and signing me out, and... I'm sure you have experienced the same. Here was the update. I have since moved on, and Studio is rendering my newest updates of that file, and other files. Go figure. But for completeness, in case anyone has similar issues, here was th update I was going to post.
...Is specific to that file. I closed, rebooted and reopened. Got the same error again when trying to render.
Closed, rebooted, and started over with a different scene. The different scene rendered fine. And I was able to render an earlier version of the same scene (saved often, yay!)
Has anyone had this error? Attaching screengrab....
Yes
