infinite dome render settings clipping objects?

Here's a couple IRAY viewport examples of my issue.

I use DAZ to create scenes for a text-based rpg we play and I'm going to have some clues laid about a trailer scene, some inside and some outside but I'm having a very odd experience with the dome clipping through some walls for some reason. The outside yards are alll all duplicate node hierarchies of a backyard product and all but 1 cardinal position around the trailer works fine so its not like its a texture transparancy thing. These are iray viewport examples for quick screenshots but I promise that full renders have the same issue.

Moving affected areas around show that there is some sort of weird line that is being crossed (no depth of field, this is all perspective view or cameras with DoF off) but I have billboards thouands of units away for layering that aren't being clipped.

I've been using DAZ for years and have gotten into the nitty gritty so I feel like I haven't missed something obvious but this has be scratching my head.

Just a guess - I see you are looking through glass. Do you have enough light bounces? You might try increasing the Max Path Length in Render Settings Optimization. I don't know what number would be best.

You seem to point the finger at infinite dome. Have you tried rendering with the dome off to see if that makes a difference? I don't really know how infinite dome could clip geometry, though.

Are you using Caustic Sampler? If so, try with it off.
