Belly problem

CykloneCyklone Posts: 137

Hi everybody !
I'm in front of a big problem :
I've tried several sitting poses and I always have a problem with strange folds appearing on the belly ( I would have loved to add a sample but " attach a file " seems to be bugged again ! )
You guys know if there's a way to fix that ?
Note : I've tried with several characters, adding and removing body morphs, I even tried with G8F as she naturally is : nothing changes !

    and this one: https://www.daz3d.com/body-mixer-bundle-for-genesis-3-and-8-male-and-female

If you know Zbrush or Blender, you can fix the morph by yourself...

    Hey !
    thank you for your answers.
The problem is not to add but to remove a very annoying and unnatural fold appearing on G8F belly...it does a sif, suddenly, there was to much skin ! ( damn it would be so much easyer if the image upload wass working !! )
Now I've noticed this as well under her breasts when they are a of a small size !

I have had this problem and it is normally a jcm activating that should not be. Look through currently used morphs (with show hidden as true) for any activated jcms in the torso/abdomen area and try dialling them out to see if it helps the problem. If yes, then try and find out why that jcm is activating at all.

Sorry for this stupid question but what are you calling " jcm " ? You mean Joint Controlled Morphs ?

Yea, you just showed this common issue. When you bend Base figure's joint - Abdomen Lower to 65 degree or above (with Use Limits unchecked), you'll see that ugly fold. (if Pelvis bends as well, it'll be even more ugly..). The culprit is that  the default limit value of Abdomen Lower - Bend is 35 degree, so the default pJCMAbdomenFwd_35 was just made for such a degree. If the value goes far beyond the default, the pJCM has no way to correct that 'fold'... that's why some PA made 'Morph Products' as above to fix them...

If we don't buy the products, usually we create MCM (Morph Corrective Morph) to fix such issues, i.e. use another morph to further correct the ugly shape with pJCM together ... Set it as : when the bend degree > 65, this MCM will be automatically triggered... More or less, like the attached Ss ~

Yea, aka Joint Corrective Morphs ~~ In Parameters pane with Show hidden properties: you'll see pJCM - Pose JCM (triggered by Poses) and eJCM - Expression JCMs (triggered by Expressions) .
