B-Bot Mirror Posing Issue

I'm trying to make a run cycle but mirroring the run pose for the B-Bot figure, but it will not work.
I posted the orginal pose, my symmetry settings, and the final result.
Please help!

I have tried this using the pose symmetry tools from Scene Tools Set 3 and the scripts there either produce what you have or throw an error.
Not a posing or rigging expert but from trying to mirror the pose manually it looks like the left and right sides are not quite configured the same and so perhaps that's why the symmetry does not work automatically? So you might have to have a duplicate up and tweak the pose on the clone joint-by-joint. Once you have it the way you want you can save your own mirrored poses for use later.
Setting X-Scale to -100 also mirrors an object
Manual posing has got to be the only way. The X scaling produces a similar bad result. It's just not rigged correctly (or correctly anymore). Thanks for your replies.
