Gescon to Customize Primitives?

I'm using Gescon to customize primitives. Specifically, I use a sphere to carve out a "scoop" from a cylinder. The edges of the resulting shape are rough. Is there a way to smooth these new edges? I could certainly ramp up the number of divisions in each primitive. Would that make rendering more complicated?
Thanks.

There is a support thread here https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/492561/released-gescon-csg-plugin-for-daz-studio-commercial/p1
Increasing the mesh divisions will obviously increase the amount of data sent to render, but unless you are pushing the values really high or the model is already high resolution it is likely to be less of a strain than the existing maps and figure geometry.
