I'm always amazed when I hear retired people worried about or complaining about filling their time. Like you, I'm retired and my biggest problem isn't finding something to do but in choosing *which* thing I should do now.

same... one of my fav pastimes is buying things off Amazon and or eBay so that when I'm gone I'll leave the grandkids scratching their heads wondering wtf did pop want these for.

I just brought three shirts off of EBay but for me they are just what the doctor ordered.  They are pearl snap shirts so when I'm getting dressed and undressed it's a simple operation rather than tradtional buttons.  Got one today, it's really nice.  Under 20 bucks each!

It sounds like a fun game, but not one I can play as my wife has already decided that should I pass first, she'll just have a bulldozer move all my stuff out.
Instead, I've made a list of all the different passwords I use for the many different accounts I have, leaving out which passwords are for which sites or accounts... just a list of passwords.

Amazon vine program be perfect for you then lol. You get to select weird random stuff from a big pool of items for free, you just gotta leave reviews. Oh I forgot, the US vine sucks, the IRS tax you on the value of the items as income.

I buy all sorts of stuff on Amazon. Gardening tools, books, whatever. My current kick has been buying an unreasonable number of different style parrot feeders, cages, perches, swings and so on trying to find the exact combination of them to minimize the mess that parrot leaves all over the place. Taken individually, the cost of each it's usually that much, but cumulatively they add up to quite a bit of money. Thankfully, I am almost done with that, after which I will give all the suboptimal parrot things I bought but decided against using to the Salvation Army or Goodwill.

On eBay I mostly buy bobbleheads of old cartoon characters. I like them better than typical porcelain knick-knacks as they don't usually break when you knock them over. I might start buying a few old issues of comics in the future, but just a few that I remember owning as a kid as inspiration for renders. The price on those is crazy though.
