You can do similar to this tool using the Windows freeware 'Very Sleepy' or on os X use ktrace and kdump in combination
I tried the updated version but no luck with Win7-64 and DAZ4.8. Simtenero has my log file and hopefully will find a fix soon.

Dunno what's your point but if you dont like the item don't buy it, so simple.
I appreciate when developers like SimTenebrio do great aditions to DS (*cough* LikeOthersDynCr...*cough!* when even Daz employers can do nothing more break the software with any incomming beta.
I thought DAZ abandoned this? It no longer shows up under the "technology" tab on site... too many "rights" issues I thought. In any case, don't hold your breath... it'll never happen.
Got a new update for Iray Memory Assistant via DIM. Now it works with Win7-64 and DAZ4.8. Thanks Simtenero!
Woohoo!
Does the update have anything besides 4.8 compatibility?
Actually the size and price of the models they list aren't bad but how much would similar models by customers with runs of 1-3 cost?
As far as the rights go well 3D printing is already reality outside of DAZ so I doubt that's really the problem. The business doing the printing might not be able to keep up with demand or have pieces of questional taste or too much complexity but I don't think copyright is a problem since it all falls within the realm of artistic expression and as a painter may paint with real physical media and sell their work and not be challeged, so may a DAZ artist do the same.
There is a Dazzle (amazing coincidence of naming or part of the same corporation?) that oversteps legal bounds often in cases (claiming copyright enforcement for items that aren't enforceable) and ignores legal bounds in other cases. Since these things are artistic expressions legally copyright folk don't have much a leg to stand on and it doesn't even come near the level of plagiarizing within the entertainment media industry itself.
Anyway, it's already easy to export to Blender, prep it, and print it if you want to.
Nope, the update just addresses 4.8 compatibility. I am working on an update with additional fixes which I hope to upload within the next week or so. I'll be sure to post progress updates.
