Daz Studio content Win/Mac

Good day all,

I just got myself a mac book pro and downloaded the mac version of Daz Studio 4.5, I also have a Win pc with Daz on and all the content I got through the years.

I was wondering, content wise, do I need to download all the content again for mac or will the content work if I copy the "My Library" folder from my Win based pc to the "My Library" of the mac?

This will save me hours if not days worth of content download.

No, you shouldn't need to download/install everything again. The main reason why there's two versions of the content, to begin with, is the use of installers, as opposed to a compressed archive. The actual data inside is pretty much the same. So if you have a way of transferring the content (or setting up a shared drive/partition on a network...even better) then you should be good to go...
