Buying 3D content outside of Daz?

I'm still relatively new to Daz. So 100% of the time I buy from Daz directly. I was looking for an item that Daz didn't have and found a website called turbosquid.com with lots of content. Could I buy items from there and import them into Daz?

Yes. You have to learn a little about the proper place to put the content; with third party stuff, there's no special system to install it properly. You have to drag folders to the right places.

And you also need to be very careful that you understand the different formats that you can buy at Turbosquid, as they sell formats for many different programs,  a lot of the formats are not accepted by DS and most all of it will not be rigged to work within DS or Poser or Bryce or Carrara.  Content from there is fine if all you want is static models because DS will import .obj
