Heterochromia (Two different eye colors)?

Is there a way to have a character with the condition of Heterochromia? If so, how can I accomplish this?  Or would this need to be a new product request?

If you navigate to your library folder and go to the following location:
    \Runtime\Textures\DAZ\Characters\
This is where the texture maps are stored for Daz people.  The eyes on all of their people have seperated uv mapping, so you could prety easily take two color eye maps and edit them to be one map then save with a new name.  You could then apply your new map manualy and save the preset.

  • Thanks for the quick response and solution.

There are actually some characters in the store which do feature heterochromia as an option already    https://www.daz3d.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=Heterochromia

       Genesis1/V4, one eye going blind:

V3: (tech/fantasy with an option to affect only one eye)

And of course if whichever figure you use doesn't allow separate surface selections (Genesis1 for example), in DAZ Studio you could use the geometry editor tool to create a new surface if needed, or create a copy of the image map that affects both eyes and photoshop one of them to be different, copying from another one.

Victoria3 already has separate left and right eyes, so you could cycle through eyes until you find one you want, copy your figure, cycle through eyes again to find the other that applies to both, then manually copy/paste the surfaces from your copy onto one eye then delete your copy.

  • There are a also quite a few eye products that include this.  Depends on which generation you are using of course.
