Classical sculpture and paintings: morphs and poses for G8

I would love to reproduce classical paintings and statuary in digital medium...these would add variety to classical art lovers.

Also, some way to dress the figures in drapes...

I did a few poses for my favourite statues a while back, think it was G2M (am at work at the moment). I can't share them as the starting point was bought poses sets but they are quite fun to do. I never quite got around to tackling Laocoon :-) but I did Michelangelo's Dying Slave and a recently discovered (at that time) men on tigers, the Dying Gaul, Shelley's tomb, off the top of my head. There used to be a few statue poses on Sharecg for M4 you could maybe check out, I'm sure one was David, which was why I didn't try him. And there has been some 3D scans of statues one some sites, free.

That might give you a starting point until anything else comes along.

There's a wonderful set for Genesis that does this: Sculptural for Genesis. I would love to see an updated one for Iray and Gen 3 and 8. Spirit Foxy also has some nice statuesque poses for G3F at Rendo.

I'm working on an update to this set...slowly but it's in the pipeline. It'll have more poses and all-new stone textures. :)

I know this is an old post, but what figure (including hair) looks the most like Michelangelo's David?

I've got an inspired-by-David shape in my Sculptural Genesis 8 Ultra Fun Kit   For the promo I used K-Nicky hair with no transparency.
