How to create normal maps?

Hey,

I have bought a couple of genesis 3 females and only 1 of them had normal maps, so I am looking for a way to make normal maps using the textures that come with the female package. Do you have a tutorial for that, that's not related to Photoshop and nvidia plugins, because I have tried that and cannot install them.

There's always Filterforge, which has a Normals filter on board.

That said, unless you have some very specific skin characteristics, you often can use the normal map of one character for another, i.e. if you don't have painted eyebrows on the skin.
