What do I do with "Animal things"?

Very scant details

Details

High quality animalistic texture set comprising of 30 seamless tiles of real-looking wild beast animal skins and 30 seamless tiles of fantastically colorful fur, a great resource product for use in your 3D/2D artwork.

What's Included and Features

  • Animal Things: (.JPG)

So, is this a material that goes in the the material slot and I pick an item in my scene and THIS becomes its 'skin'?

Or do I use this ONLY in photoshop to replace a pattern and load that- in the next choice, below......?

** does it go in the diffuse color channel and that will cover the object in this- as a coat?

How would I use this?

It is an old set. It contains just seamslessly tiling image files. There are no materials for either 3Delight or Iray. There are also no bump or normal or any other map type you would need to construct good materials. It will also be challenging to make the pattern work with complex models and their UV. They might be useful in the background because they are light. And yes, the images would go into the difuse color input.

Using them in PS to construct a map would also be possible.

    Ciao

  • Thank you very muhc. Wasn't on sale anyways.

  • There's also this, very similar but a merchant resource and much cheaper. In fact some of the textures look identical.

I picked it up awhile ago and its great for making your own textures, but same as the other, you will have to do some work yourself unless you just want your material looking flat.
